   UPPER TROUGH DEEPENS OVER THE CNTRL AND ERN CONUS.  SURFACE HIGH
   PRESSURE STILL COVERS A LARGE PORTION OF THE COUNTRY...WITH ONE AREA
   CENTERED OVER THE MID ATLANTIC REGION AND A SECOND AREA EXTENDING
   FROM THE CANADIAN ROCKIES TO THE NRN PLAINS.  IN BETWEEN...A SURFACE
   CYCLONE WILL FORM OVER SERN CO AND MOVE TWD THE GREAT LAKES...WITH
   ANOTHER SURGE OF ARCTIC AIR SPREADING SWD IN ITS WAKE.
   
   ...SERN NM/SWRN TX...
   MODERATE WLY FLOW ALOFT ALONG WITH SURFACE PRESSURE FALLS OVER SERN
   CO WILL BRING GUSTY SURFACE WINDS /SWLY 10 TO 20 MPH SUSTAINED/ TO
   THE PLAINS OF SERN NM AND WRN TX THIS AFTERNOON.  THE AIRMASS WILL
   BE DRY AND MILD...WITH SURFACE DEWPOINTS ONLY IN THE TEENS AND
   MAXIMUM TEMPERATURES REACHING THE UPPER 50S TO LOWER 60S. LOCALIZED
   CONDITIONS MAY APPROACH OR BRIEFLY EXCEED CRITICAL THIS
   AFTERNOON...AS WINDS GUST TO 25 MPH AND MINIMUM RH FALLS TO 10 TO 15
   PERCENT.
   
   ...SERN CONUS...
   A RESIDUAL AREA OF VERY LOW RH WILL REMAIN OVER PORTIONS OF THE
   SOUTHEAST TODAY...PARTICULARLY FROM NERN AR TO WRN SC.  MINIMUM RH
   AS LOW AS 15 TO 20 PERCENT IS EXPECTED...BUT TEMPERATURES WILL
   REMAIN COLD /MAXIMUMS ONLY IN THE UPPER 30S TO MID 40S/ DESPITE

   TO AZ...NM...AND SWRN TX.  AS SURFACE LOW PRESSURE MOVES INTO
   ONTARIO...A COLD FRONT WITH SCATTERED SNOW AND RAIN SHOWERS WILL
   STRETCH FROM THE GREAT LAKES TO CNTRL TX.  NORTH AND WEST OF THIS
   FRONT...STRONG SURFACE HIGH PRESSURE AND AN ARCTIC AIRMASS EXTENDS
   FROM THE PACIFIC NORTHWEST THROUGH THE PLAINS AND MIDWEST.
