   THE SRN PLAINS THROUGH THE PERIOD. WITH THE PASSAGE OF THIS
   SYSTEM...CRITICAL FIRE WEATHER CONDITIONS ARE EXPECTED OVER THE SRN
   HIGH PLAINS. ELSEWHERE ACROSS THE NATION...MUCH BELOW NORMAL
   TEMPERATURES AND/OR MOIST CONDITIONS WILL PRECLUDE ANY NEAR CRITICAL
   FIRE WEATHER AREAS.

   PRIMARY CONDITIONS: SUSTAINED WLY WINDS FROM 20-30 MPH WITH GUSTS
   OVER 40 MPH...MIN RH READINGS FROM 10-15 PERCENT
   
   STEEP LOW-MID LEVEL LAPSE RATES COMBINED WITH THE STRONG MID LEVEL
   WIND FIELDS WILL SUPPORT MODERATE SFC WINDS TODAY OVER THE SRN HIGH
   PLAINS /SOUTH OF A STATIONARY FRONT THAT SHOULD EXTEND FROM ECENTRAL
   NM INTO THE TX SOUTH PLAINS/. RELATIVELY WARM TEMPERATURES IN THE
   60S IN HIGHER ELEVATIONS TO THE 70S IN LOWER ELEVATIONS WILL COMBINE
   WITH LOW DEWPTS 10S/20S TO PRODUCE MIN RH READINGS BELOW 15 PERCENT.

   MOVING INTO THE SWRN STATES. DRY CONDITIONS WILL DEVELOP EWD OVER
   THE SRN PLAINS IN THE WAKE OF THE SOUTHEAST SYSTEM...BUT GENERALLY
   LIGHT WINDS WILL PRECLUDE ANY CRITICAL FIRE WEATHER CONDITIONS.
   
   ...SRN HIGH PLAINS...
   TO THE WEST OF A RETREATING COLD AIRMASS...WLY WINDS FROM 10-20 MPH
   WILL OCCUR DURING THE AFTERNOON OVER THE SRN HIGH PLAINS AS MODEST
   WLY FLOW REMAINS IN MID LEVELS. MILD TEMPERATURES IN THE 60S WILL
   SUPPORT MIN RH READINGS FROM 15-20 PERCENT. GIVEN MARGINAL NATURE OF
