...CRITICAL FIRE WEATHER AREA FOR A PORTION OF THE SRN GREAT
   BASIN/SWRN HIGH DESERT...

   ...SYNOPSIS...
A STRONG UPPER LOW/TROUGH WILL MOVE ACROSS THE PAC NW INTO THE NRN
ROCKIES THROUGH THE PERIOD. THIS SYSTEM WILL SUPPORT A DEVELOPMENT
OF MODERATE SWLY WINDS OVER THE GREAT BASIN /SOUTH OF A COLD FRONT/.
COMBINED WITH LOW RH READINGS...CRITICAL FIRE WEATHER CONDITIONS ARE
EXPECTED OVER PORTIONS OF SRN NV/SERN CA AND NWRN AZ/SWRN UT.
DOWNSTREAM OF THIS SYSTEM...A COLD FRONT EXTENDING FROM TX TO THE
MID-ATLANTIC WILL MOVE SEWD THROUGH THE AFTERNOON. THIS FRONT WILL
STALL ON ITS WRN EDGE OVER TX BY TONIGHT AHEAD OF THE WRN CONUS
SYSTEM. SCT PRECIPITATION WILL OCCUR ALONG AND AHEAD OF THIS FRONT
TODAY. DESPITE MODERATE SLY WINDS OVER THE CAROLINAS/VA
TODAY...INCREASING HUMIDITY WILL LIMIT ANY CRITICAL FIRE WEATHER
   THREAT.

   ...CRITICAL FIRE WEATHER AREA - SRN NV...SERN CA...NWRN AZ/SWRN
   UT...

PRIMARY CONDITIONS: SUSTAINED SWLY WINDS FROM 20-25 MPH WITH GUSTS
UP TO 30 MPH...MIN RH READINGS AROUND 10 PERCENT

SOUTH OF A STRONG UPPER SYSTEM OVER THE PAC NW/NRN
   ROCKIES...INCREASING MID LEVEL FLOW...STEEP LOW-MID LEVEL LAPSE
RATES AND THE DEVELOPMENT OF AN AREA OF LOW PRESSURE OVER THE NRN
GREAT BASIN WILL SUPPORT MODERATE SWLY SFC WINDS /20-25 MPH/ OVER
THE AREA THIS AFTERNOON. ABOVE NORMAL TEMPERATURES COMBINED WITH LOW
DEWPTS WILL PRODUCE MIN RH READINGS FROM 10-15 PERCENT. CRITICAL
FIRE WEATHER CONDITIONS ARE EXPECTED TO OCCUR FROM 22-01Z WHERE
WINDS WILL BE SUSTAINED OVER 20 MPH DURING THE MAJORITY OF THIS
PERIOD. POOR RH RECOVERY IS EXPECTED OVER HIGHER ELEVATIONS TONIGHT
AS MODERATE WINDS/MIXING SUPPORT MILD TEMPERATURES.
