AS THE MAIN BELT OF UPPER WESTERLIES CONTINUES TO PREVAIL OVER THE
NORTHERN THIRD OF THE CONUS...THE PRIMARY FEATURE OF NOTE FOR TODAY

BRITISH COLUMBIA TO THE NORTHERN ROCKIES. ASSOCIATED DRY COLD FRONT
WILL BRING STRONG GUSTY WINDS TO PORTIONS OF THE PACIFIC

ACROSS THE WESTERN STATES INCLUDING INTERIOR CA.

SOME RECENT PRECIPITATION /ESPECIALLY PORTIONS OF WESTERN AND
CENTRAL MT/...AND FUELS ARE SEEMINGLY MARGINAL IN THESE
LOCALES...THE MAGNITUDE OF THE WIND SPEEDS AND DRYING NATURE OF THE
AIRMASS APPEARS TO WARRANT A CRITICAL FIRE OUTLOOK ACROSS A BROAD
PORTION OF THE PACIFIC NORTHWEST/NORTHERN ROCKIES.
