   MAIN BAND OF RELATIVELY STRONGER WESTERLY WINDS WILL BE ALONG THE
   U.S./CANADIAN BORDER.  ONE WEAK UPPER DISTURBANCE WILL MOVE ACROSS
   THE PACIFIC NORTHWEST.  WESTERLY/NORTHWESTERLY WINDS BEHIND A WEAK
   COLD FRONT IN EASTERN OREGON/WASHINGTON STATE MAY BRIEFLY APPROACH
   20 MPH WITH A FEW HIGHER GUSTS FOR A FEW HOURS IN THE AFTERNOON. 
   HOWEVER THE LARGE SCALE CONDITIONS SHOULD REMAIN BELOW CRITICAL
   LEVELS AS THE OVERALL SURFACE PRESSURE PATTERN REMAINS WEAK.

   U.S./CANADIAN BORDER.  SURFACE PRESSURE PATTERN WILL REMAIN FAIRLY

   BY THURSDAY AFTERNOON...SREF AND PERFECT PROG LTG GUIDANCE INDICATE
   EASTERN OREGON AND WEST CENTRAL IDAHO MAY SEE SOME SCATTERED MAINLY
   DRY THUNDERSTORMS.  WITH FORECAST MLCAPE OF 200 TO 300 J/KG AND
   CLOUD BASES ABOUT 10K FT AGL AND A DEEP WELL MIXED SUB-CLOUD LAYER
   SOME SCATTERED DRY THUNDERSTORMS ARE POSSIBLE.  FURTHER EAST...INTO
   IDAHO AND MONTANA...HIGHER MOISTURE SHOULD PRODUCE MAINLY WET
   STORMS.
