   CRITICAL FIRE CONDITIONS IS EXPECTED ACROSS PORTIONS OF NORTHEAST
   CA/SOUTHEAST ORE AND NORTHWEST NV THIS AFTERNOON/EVENING.
   ALONG/AHEAD OF THE APPROACHING COLD FRONT...HOT TEMPERATURES AND
   VERY LOW SINGLE DIGIT RH WILL EXIST THIS AFTERNOON...WITH VERY HIGH
   TO EXTREME FIRE DANGER FROM DRY FUELS. DEEP MIXING AND INCREASING
   WIND FIELDS ALOFT WILL FAVOR BROAD SCALE GUSTY WINDS OF 15-30
   MPH...WITH A WIND SHIFT VIA THE COLD FRONTAL PASSAGE. A ROGUE DRY
   TSTM OR TWO CANNOT BE RULED OUT AS WELL.

   ASCENT AND ONLY MODEST MOISTURE /PRECIPITABLE WATER VALUES AROUND
   0.50 INCH/...ISOLATED TO SCATTERED MAINLY DRY TSTMS ARE LIKELY TO
   DEVELOP BY MID/LATE AFTERNOON...INITIALLY OVER THE HIGHER TERRAIN OF
   EASTERN ID INTO SOUTHWEST MT/NORTHWEST WY. ALONG WITH THE POTENTIAL
   FOR NEW FIRE STARTS AND INCREASINGLY GUSTY WINDS OVER THE HIGHER
   TERRAIN/MOUNTAINS...A DEEPLY MIXED BOUNDARY/INVERTED-V PROFILES WILL
   FAVOR ERRATIC/POTENTIALLY VERY STRONG DOWNDRAFT WINDS WITH TSTMS.

   A WEAK MID LEVEL IMPULSE AND INCREASING MID LEVEL MOISTURE SHOULD
   LEAD TO ISOLATED MAINLY DRY TSTMS THIS AFTERNOON/EVENING ACROSS
   PORTIONS OF THE EASTERN GREAT BASIN...ESPECIALLY ACROSS EAST CENTRAL
   NV INTO WESTERN/CENTRAL UT. THE RELATIVELY ISOLATED NATURE OF THE
   EXPECTED TSTMS PRECLUDES A CRITICAL RISK AREA...BUT NEW FIRE STARTS

   INCREASINGLY STRONG WIND FIELDS ALOFT...SUSTAINED WINDS OF 20-30 MPH
   SEEM LIKELY BY AFTERNOON...WITH POTENTIAL FOR 40+ MPH GUSTS
   /ESPECIALLY ACROSS EASTERN ID AND SOUTHWEST MT INTO NORTHWEST WY/. A
   SUBSEQUENT WIND SHIFT WILL OCCUR DURING THE DAY WITH THE PASSAGE OF
   THE COLD FRONT. ALONG WITH A HIGH TO VERY HIGH ANTECEDENT FIRE
   DANGER...WARM TEMPERATURES AND AT LEAST MARGINALLY LOW RH VALUES
   AHEAD OF THE FRONT WILL FURTHER SUPPORT CRITICAL FIRE CONDITIONS.
   SOME MAINLY DRY TSTMS WILL BE POSSIBLE AS WELL ALONG/AHEAD OF THE
