   WILL OCCUR UNDER THIS RIDGE WITH WEAK WINDS. A FEW LIGHTNING STRIKES
   MAY OCCUR OVER NRN NV WITH ISOLATED DRY STORMS DURING THE AFTERNOON.
   TO THE E...SURFACE HIGH PRESSURE WILL CONTINUE TO AFFECT THE NERN
   STATES INTO THE MID ATLANTIC WITH RELATIVELY DRY CONDITIONS...WITH
   STRONG ELY WINDS ACROSS PORTIONS OF THE SE DUE TO FAY.

   A WEAK AREA OF LOW PRESSURE IS FORECAST TO FORM OVER NRN NV THIS
   AFTERNOON...IN PART DUE TO A WEAK UPPER SHORTWAVE OVER NRN CA/NWRN
   NV. THERE WILL BE ENOUGH MOISTURE AT PEAK HEATING FOR PERHAPS AN
   ISOLATED DRY THUNDERSTORM. DUE TO LOW RH OF 10-15 PERCENT...ANY
   STRIKES WILL HAVE A RELATIVELY HIGH IGNITION EFFICIENCY. IN
   ADDITION...SLY WINDS OF 10-15 MPH WILL BE LIKELY WITH A FEW HIGHER

   AND DRY WEATHER WILL THUS EXTEND FROM THE DESERT SW NWD INTO CANADA.
   THE WRN EDGE OF THE RIDGE WILL BEGIN TO BREAK DOWN OVER WA/OREGON
   LATE IN THE DAY AS A STRONG UPPER TROUGH SURGES ASHORE. A COLD FRONT
   ASSOCIATED WITH THIS SYSTEM WILL BRING WIND AND RAIN TO WRN WA AND
   OREGON.
   
   ELSEWHERE...HIGH PRESSURE WILL BUILD SWD ACROSS THE UPPER/MID MS
   VALLEYS AND MIDWEST BEHIND A COLD FRONT THAT WILL EXTEND FROM NY
   INTO N TX. GENERALLY MOIST CONDITIONS WILL PREVAIL ALONG AND AHEAD
   OF THIS FRONT...ESPECIALLY OVER THE GULF COAST FROM THE EFFECTS OF
