   A DEEP UPPER LEVEL LOW PRESSURE TROUGH WILL BUILD ACROSS THE WESTERN
   U.S. BRINGING WITH IT COOLER/COLDER TEMPERATURES WITH SOME RAIN IN
   THE LOWER ELEVATIONS AND SNOW AT THE HIGHER ELEVATIONS.  A SURFACE
   LOW PRESSURE TROUGH IN THE LEE OF THE ROCKIES COMBINED WITH HIGH
   PRESSURE HOLDING OVER MOST OF THE EASTERN U.S. WILL PRODUCE STRONG
   AND GUSTY MOIST SOUTH TO SOUTHEASTERLY WINDS ACROSS THE CENTRAL AND
   NORTHERN PLAINS.
   
   DRY AIR WILL HOLD OVER MUCH OF THE SOUTHEAST INCLUDING
   FLORIDA...HOWEVER...WINDS ARE EXPECTED TO GENERALLY BE LIGHT.

   ...SYNOPSIS...
   ON SUNDAY...THE WESTERN U.S. UPPER LEVEL LOW PRESSURE TROUGH WILL
   MOVE INTO THE CENTRAL PLAINS.  THE SURFACE LOW PRESSURE SYSTEM WILL
   BE DEVELOPING OVER SOUTHWESTERN KANSAS.  STRONG SOUTHERLY LOW LEVEL
   FLOW WILL TRANSPORT MOISTURE NORTHWARD AND COMBINED WITH THE UPPER
   LOW...RAIN AND THUNDERSTORMS ARE LIKELY ALONG AND AHEAD OF THIS
   STORM SYSTEM.  THE LARGE AREA OF RELATIVELY WEAK HIGH PRESSURE WILL
   HOLD OVER MOST OF THE EASTERN U.S. ON SUNDAY.  HUMIDITY WILL
   GRADUALLY INCREASE OVER THE SOUTHEAST ON SUNDAY AFTERNOON.
   
   SOUTHERN CALIFORNIA MAY SEE A BRIEF PERIOD OF STRONG NORTHEASTERLY
   WINDS LATE SUNDAY AS A SURFACE HIGH PRESSURE SYSTEM BUILDS INTO THE
   GREAT BASIN BEHIND THE UPPER LOW.  HOWEVER...TEMPERATURES ARE
   EXPECTED TO BE MILD WITH WINDS STILL REMAINING ON SHORE NEAR THE
   COAST.  IN ADDITION, SOME AREAS MAY SEE SOME WETTING RAINS ON
   SATURDAY...SO NO CRITICAL FIRE AREAS ARE EXPECTED.
