   BUILDING SWD THROUGH THE GREAT BASIN WILL PROVIDE FOR THE
   DEVELOPMENT OF WEAK OFFSHORE/ELY WINDS OVER SRN CA AND PORTIONS OF
   AZ OVERNIGHT. DESPITE RH RECOVERY TONIGHT...LIGHT WINDS WILL

   THIS TROUGH WLY MID LEVEL FLOW WILL INCREASE OVER MT. AT THE
   SURFACE...AHEAD OF A COLD FRONT AND TO THE WEST OF A LEE TROUGH LOW
   RH READINGS /AROUND 25 PERCENT/ WILL COMBINE WITH STRONG SWLY WINDS
   TO PRODUCE NEAR CRITICAL FIRE WEATHER CONDITIONS. ELSEWHERE ACROSS
   THE NATION...WEAK OFFSHORE FLOW WILL CONTINUE OVER SRN CA. LOWERING
   RH READINGS /LESS THAN 15 PERCENT/ WILL SUPPORT INCREASING FIRE
   DANGER...BUT LIGHT WINDS WILL PRECLUDE A CRITICAL FIRE WEATHER
   THREAT. FURTHER EAST...AN UPPER TROUGH OVER THE MS VALLEY WILL LEAD
   TO MOD/HVY RAINS OVER THE OHIO/MS VALLEY REGION. IN THE WAKE OF THIS
   TROUGH...DRY NWLY WINDS WILL PREVAIL OVER THE SRN PLAINS AS SFC HIGH
   PRESSURE BUILDS INTO THE CENTRAL PLAINS.

   AHEAD OF A SHORTWAVE TROUGH...MODERATE MID LEVEL WINDS COUPLED WITH
   STEEP LOW/MID LEVEL LAPSE RATES AND WARM BOUNDARY LAYER TEMPERATURES
   WILL LEAD TO THE POTENTIAL FOR SUSTAINED SWLY SFC WINDS FROM 20-30
   MPH WITH HIGHER GUSTS. WARM TEMPERATURES /70S F/ AND DOWNSLOPE FLOW
   AHEAD OF A COLD FRONT WILL SUPPORT MIN RH READINGS FROM 20-30
   PERCENT. AREA WILL BE MONITORED FOR POTENTIAL OF CRITICAL FIRE
   WEATHER CONDITIONS IF LOWER RH READINGS ARE FORECAST IN LATER
