   ...SYNOPSIS...
   A LARGE UPPER LEVEL RIDGE OF HIGH PRESSURE WILL COVER THE WEST COAST
   PRODUCING WARM AND DRY CONDITIONS.  SURFACE AND UPPER LOW OVER THE
   MIDWEST WILL GRADUALLY BEGIN TO LIFT OUT TOWARDS THE GREAT LAKES
   REGION.  RAIN AND THUNDERSTORMS WILL OVERSPREAD MUCH OF THE
   SOUTHEAST AND EASTERN U.S. AS THE SURFACE HIGH PRESSURE SYSTEM
   SHIFTS OFF THE EAST COAST.
   
   ...PTNS CNTRL AND MOST OF SRN CA...
   WARM AND VERY DRY CONDITIONS WILL CONTINUE ACROSS MUCH OF CENTRAL
   AND MOST OF SOUTHERN CALIFORNIA...WITH ONLY COASTAL SECTIONS SEEING
   A GRADUAL INCREASE IN MOISTURE.  THE HIGHER TERRAIN AND AREAS AWAY
   FROM THE COAST WILL CONTINUE EXTREMELY DRY WITH VERY LOW HUMIDITY. 
   FUELS ARE EXTREMELY DRY WITH A VERY HIGH TO EXTREME FIRE DANGER AND
   THE AREA IS IN MODERATE TO SEVERE DROUGHT.  WEAK OFFSHORE WINDS ARE
   EXPECTED TO CONTINUE EXCEPT FOR WEAK ONSHORE FLOW NEAR THE COAST.  
   
   ALTHOUGH THE LARGE SCALE WINDS SHOULD BE LIGHTER THAN PAST DAYS AND
   ARE NOT EXPECTED TO BE MUCH OF A PROBLEM...THE CONTINUATION OF THE
   WARM AND VERY DRY AIR WILL BE THE MAIN PROBLEM FOR FIRE WEATHER. 
   HUMIDITY WILL BE IN THE SINGLE DIGITS TO TEENS DURING THE DAY WITH
   VERY LITTLE HUMIDITY RECOVERY DURING THE NIGHT.

   THE UPPER LEVEL HIGH PRESSURE RIDGE WILL CONTINUE TO HOLD OVER THE
   WEST WITH A CONTINUATION OF WARM AND DRY CONDITIONS.  WITH THE
   EXITING UPPER LOW OVER THE GREAT LAKES...THE UPPER FLOW WILL
   TRANSITION TO A LARGER SCALE UPPER LEVEL TROUGH OVER THE EASTERN
   U.S.  RAIN AND A FEW THUNDERSTORMS ARE EXPECTED IN THE EAST WITH A
   LARGE SURFACE HIGH PRESSURE SYSTEM MOVING INTO THE MIDWEST.
   
   ...PTNS OF CNTRL AND MOST OF SRN CA...
   THE WARM AND DRY CONDITIONS WILL CONTINUE ON SATURDAY INTO EARLY
   SUNDAY ACROSS MOST OF CALIFORNIA.  VERY LOW HUMIDITY BOTH DURING THE
   DAY AND AT NIGHT IN AREAS AWAY FROM THE COAST ARE EXPECTED.  THE
   VERY HIGH TO EXTREME FIRE DANGER WILL CONTINUE...HOWEVER THE LARGE
   SCALE WINDS ARE NOT EXPECTED TO BE A PROBLEM.  FOR ANY FIRES THAT DO
   DEVELOP...LOCAL...SMALLER SCALE WIND PATTERNS ASSOCIATED WITH THE
   LOCAL TERRAIN WILL NEED TO BE MONITORED.
