   A GENERAL NW FLOW REGIME WILL EXIST ACROSS THE NRN AND ERN STATES AS
   A STRONG UPPER TROUGH DRIFTS EWD ACROSS THE WRN ATLANTIC. ANOTHER
   UPPER TROUGH WILL DIVE SEWD OUT OF CNTRL CANADA LATE IN THE DAY AND
   OVERNIGHT...WITH A COOL AND DRY AIR MASS SURGING SWD NRN AND CNTRL
   STATES WITH HIGH PRESSURE. AHEAD OF THIS COLD FRONT...IT WILL BE
   VERY WARM OVER THE SRN PLAINS...WITH DRY SWLY WINDS RESULTING IN A
   MARGINAL FIRE THREAT MAINLY FOR NWRN TX. 
   
   ELSEWHERE...AN AREA OF HIGH PRESSURE WILL ALSO RESIDE ACROSS THE
   SERN U.S. WITH COOL BUT VERY DRY WEATHER PERSISTING. A VERY DRY AIR
   MASS WILL ALSO PERSIST OVER THE SWRN STATES INCLUDING SRN CA...BUT A
   WEAK PRESSURE GRADIENT WILL RESULT IN MAINLY WEAK WINDS THERE.
   
   ...SERN STATES...
   HIGH PRESSURE WILL BE CENTERED OVER SRN GA AND NRN FL THIS
   AFTERNOON...MAINTAINING VERY DRY BUT COOL CONDITIONS. WINDS WILL BE
   GENERALLY WEAK MOST PLACES WHICH WILL COMBINE WITH COOL TEMPERATURES
   IN THE 50S TO MITIGATE THE FIRE THREAT. STILL...SEVERAL HOURS OF RH
   IN THE 20 PERCENT RANGE AND AREAS OF DRY FUELS WILL MAINTAIN A
   THREAT OF FIRE STARTS.
   
   ...CNTRL AND NWRN TX...SWRN OK...
   SWLY WINDS WILL INCREASE TO 15-20 MPH WITH HIGHER GUSTS THIS
   AFTERNOON AHEAD OF A WEAK SURFACE TROUGH AND COLD FRONT. DOWNSLOPE
   WINDS AND FULL SUNSHINE WILL YIELD WARM TEMPERATURES IN THE 75-80 F
   RANGE...PRODUCING MIN RH VALUES FROM 10-20 PERCENT. ALTHOUGH

   LATE ON THU WITH A PACIFIC FRONT EXTENDING SWD THROUGH NRN CA AND
   WRN NV. HIGH PRESSURE WILL CONTINUE TO ADVANCE EWD INTO THE GREAT
   BASIN AND ACROSS SRN CA OVERNIGHT...PRODUCING LOCALLY GUSTY WINDS
   AND CRITICAL FIRE CONDITIONS MAINLY FOR SANTA BARBARA COUNTY CA.
   
   TO THE E...A VERY STRONG AREA OF HIGH PRESSURE WILL STRETCH FROM THE
   ROCKIES EWD ACROSS THE PLAINS AND INTO THE OH AND TN VALLEY REGION
   BY THU AFTERNOON. VERY WINDY AND COOL CONDITIONS WILL BE ASSOCIATED
   WITH THIS POST FRONTAL REGIME. SLIGHTLY WARMER CONDITIONS WILL OCCUR
   OVER AL/GA/SC/FL WITH LOW RH LEVELS PERSISTING.

   PRIMARY CONDITIONS: LOCALLY STRONG SUNDOWNER WINDS AND LOW RH
   
   IT WILL BE MILD AND DRY DURING THE DAY ON THU ACROSS SRN CA WITH RH
   IN THE TEENS EXPECTED. WINDS WILL INITIALLY BE LIGHT BUT DURING THE
   EVENING AND OVERNIGHT STRONG GUSTS WILL OCCUR AS THE GRADIENT
   BETWEEN HIGH PRESSURE TO THE N AND A LOW PRESSURE TROUGH JUST
   OFFSHORE TIGHTENS. THE MOST FAVORABLE AREAS FOR STRONG WINDS WILL BE
   ACROSS THE SANTA YNEZ RANGE AND ALONG THE S COAST OF SANTA BARBARA
   COUNTY. GUSTS OF 30-40 MPH APPEAR LIKELY WITH POOR RH RECOVERY.

   A DRY AIR MASS WILL REMAIN OVER THE SERN STATES ON THU DESPITE
   WEAKENING HIGH PRESSURE IN ADVANCE OF AN EVEN STRONG HIGH COMING ON
   FRI. MIN RH IN THE 25-35 PERCENT RANGE WILL BE LIKELY THU AFTERNOON
   WITH WINDS SHIFTING TO SWLY AT AROUND 10 MPH. HIGH TEMPERATURES ARE
