   A LARGE UPPER TROUGH WILL SLOWLY MOVE EWD ACROSS THE ERN HALF OF THE
   COUNTY WITH THE TROUGH AXIS AND SURFACE LOW CENTERED OVER THE GREAT
   LAKES. COOL AND DRY WEATHER WILL PREVAIL AS HIGH PRESSURE SPREADS
   SWD ACROSS THE PLAINS AND INTO THE MS VALLEY AND GULF COAST STATES.
   
   TO THE W...HIGH PRESSURE WILL MODIFY A BIT OVER THE GREAT BASIN AS
   AN UPPER RIDGE BUILDS...PROVIDING MILD AND DRY WEATHER. LOCALLY
   GUSTY WINDS ACROSS THE SRN CA COASTAL RANGE WILL GIVE WAY TO A CALM
   AND MILD DAY...WITH LIGHT ONSHORE FLOW DEVELOPING AS A WEAK UPPER

   ALOFT WILL HELP INDUCE A LEE TROUGH OVER THE CNTRL AND SRN HIGH
   PLAINS WITH STRENGTHENING SLY WINDS AND LOW RH. FARTHER W...A WEAK
   UPPER SHORTWAVE TROUGH WILL SLIDE EWD ACROSS SRN CA INTO AZ WITH
   INCREASED MID LEVEL MOISTURE AND SCATTERED SHOWERS.

   HIGH PRESSURE WILL BUILD INTO THE REGION WITH COOL AND VERY DRY
   WEATHER. NWLY WINDS NEAR 10 MPH AND MIN RH OF 30-35 PERCENT WILL BE
   COMMON WITH RATHER SHALLOW INVERSION HEIGHTS DUE TO COOL
   TEMPERATURES IN THE 50S. STILL...A MARGINAL FIRE THREAT WILL EXIST
   DURING THE AFTERNOON MAINLY ACROSS THE FL PENINSULA WHERE KBDI
   VALUES ARE HIGHEST.
   
   ...SRN AND WRN OK...MUCH OF CNTRL...NRN...AND NWRN TX...
   A LEE LOW WILL DEEPEN OVER NERN NM AS THE UPPER FLOW FLATTENS IN THE
   WAKE OF THE ERN U.S. TROUGH. A TIGHT PRESSURE GRADIENT WILL EXIST BY
   LATE AFTERNOON OVER THE SRN PLAINS...WITH A STRONG AREA OF HIGH
   PRESSURE TO THE E. SUSTAINED SLY WINDS NEAR 20 MPH WITH HIGHER GUSTS
   WILL OCCUR FROM CNTRL TX INTO OK AND THE TX PANHANDLE. THE DRIEST
   AIR WILL BE ACROSS ERN NM AND W TX...AS WELL AS FAR WRN OK WITH
   VALUES OF 15-25 PERCENT AND TEMPERATURES MAINLY IN THE 65-70 F
   RANGE. THE COMBINATION OF LOW RH AND GUSTY WINDS...AS WELL AS
   SEVERAL WEEKS OF LITTLE OR NO PRECIPITATION MAY RESULT IN LOCALLY
   CRITICAL FIRE CONDITIONS FOR A FEW HOURS LATE IN THE DAY WHERE FUELS
   ARE DRY.
