   ...SYNOPSIS...
   A LARGE SCALE UPPER TROUGH WILL VERY SLOWLY MOVE EWD FROM THE CNTRL
   US AND WILL EXTEND FROM THE GREAT LAKES REGION SWD THROUGH THE MS
   VALLEY BY LATE IN THE PERIOD. MEANWHILE A SECOND UPPER LOW WILL
   DEVELOP OVER ERN TX...MOVING EWD INTO LA/MS LATE IN THE PERIOD.
   WIDESPREAD PRECIPITATION WILL AFFECT THE EAST COAST AND THE GULF
   REGION IN ASSOCIATION WITH THESE SYSTEMS. 
   
   IN S CNTRL TX...STRONG AND GUSTY NLY/NWLY WINDS WILL CONTINUE TO
   AFFECT THE AREA AROUND THE BACKSIDE OF THE WRN GULF LOW AND IN A
   POST COLD FRONTAL REGIME.
     
   IN SRN CA...DRY CONDITIONS WILL CONTINUE THROUGH THE DAY...ALTHOUGH
   IN GENERAL WINDS WILL BE LIGHTER THAN YESTERDAY.
   
   ...CRITICAL FIRE WEATHER AREA - S CNTRL TX...
   
   PRIMARY CONDITIONS: STRONG WIND... LOW RH...SEVERE DROUGHT
   
   STRONG NLY/NWLY WINDS WILL CONTINUE ACROSS S CNTRL TX FOLLOWING THIS
   MORNINGS COLD FRONTAL PASSAGE AND AROUND THE BACKSIDE OF A SECOND
   UPPER LOW THAT WILL INTENSIFY OVER ERN TX BEFORE QUICKLY MOVING EWD.
   ALTHOUGH FAR SRN TX HAS REMAINED COOL AND DRY...AREAS JUST TO THE N
   HAVE RECEIVED RAINFALL TONIGHT...AND THE CRITICAL AREA HAS BEEN
   REDUCED TO REFLECT THIS. S OF THIS RAINFALL LINE...RELATIVE
   HUMIDITIES WILL DROP INTO THE MID 20S TO LOWER 30S DESPITE COOLER
   TEMPERATURES IN THE 50S AND LOWER 60S. WINDS WILL REMAIN STRONG AND
   GUSTY FOLLOWING THE FRONT...WITH SUSTAINED SPEEDS NEAR 25 MPH. GIVEN
   SEVERE DROUGHT AND DRY CONDITIONS EXPERIENCED ON THE PREVIOUS
   DAY...A HEIGHTENED FIRE THREAT WILL EXIST.

   SURFACE HIGH PRESSURE IS NOW CENTERED INVOF NERN NV THIS
   MORNING...AND WILL SHIFT EWD AND WEAKEN THROUGH THE DAY. THE
   PRESSURE GRADIENT ACROSS SRN CA HAS WEAKENED THIS MORNING AS
   WELL...AND NO APPRECIABLE GUSTS ARE BEING OBSERVED ATTM ON MESOWEST
   OR METAR DATA. EXPECT THAT WINDS WILL BE MUCH LIGHTER TODAY COMPARED
   TO YESTERDAY...ALTHOUGH FAVORED CANYONS AND PASSES MAY STILL
   EXPERIENCE SOME DEGREE OF GUSTING GIVEN FAVORABLE NELY WIND
   ORIENTATION...ESPECIALLY BY EARLY MORNING. LITTLE RH RECOVERY IS
   OCCURRING TONIGHT. TEEN AND SINGLE DIGIT RHS CAN BE EXPECTED BY
   AFTERNOON ONCE AGAIN...HEIGHTENING THE FIRE THREAT DESPITE OVERALL
   WEAKENING OF WINDS.

   THROUGH THE DAY. FARTHER S...AN UPPER LOW WILL QUICKLY MOVE EWD
   THROUGH THE GULF COAST REGION...THEN NEWD TO THE MID ATLANTIC LATE
   IN THE PERIOD. THIS WILL INFLUENCE WIDESPREAD SHOWERS AND
   THUNDERSTORMS ACROSS THESE AREAS. AS THIS OCCURS...WINDS WILL
   GENERALLY RELAX ACROSS SRN TX...ALTHOUGH ANOTHER DAY OF LOW RH WILL
   BE POSSIBLE IN A DRY NLY FLOW. 
   
   FARTHER W...A MAJOR PATTERN CHANGE WILL BE UNDERWAY. THE UPPER RIDGE
   WILL SIGNIFICANTLY WEAKEN THROUGH THE DAY AS A STRONG SHORT WAVE
   TROUGH APPROACHES THE PACIFIC NORTHWEST...JUST NOSING INTO THE AREA
   LATE IN THE PERIOD. IN SRN CA...ONE MORE DAY OF LOW RH WILL
   CONTINUE...ALTHOUGH WINDS ARE EXPECTED TO REMAIN LIGHT.
