   EAST OF THE FOUR CORNERS REGION WILL MOVE RAPIDLY EASTWARD THROUGH
   THE MIDWEST DURING THE FORECAST PERIOD. AHEAD OF THE STORM
   SYSTEM...SEVERE STORMS AND WIDESPREAD RAINFALL WILL OCCUR ALONG A
   COLD FRONT FROM THE GREAT LAKES SOUTHWARD INTO THE LOWER MISSISSIPPI
   VALLEY. BEHIND THE FRONT IN CENTRAL TX...DRY AIR AND STRONG WINDS
   WILL CONTRIBUTE TO A CRITICAL FIRE WEATHER RISK.

   PRIMARY CONDITIONS: STRONG AND GUSTY WINDS...LOW RH VALUES...DROUGHT
   
   A PACIFIC COLD FRONT WILL MOVE THROUGH THE REGION ON SATURDAY
   MORNING. BEHIND THE FRONT...STRONG WESTERLY WINDS AROUND 20 MPH WITH
   GUSTS TO 30 MPH WILL EXIST. ADDITIONALLY...VERY DRY AIR WILL ADVECT
   INTO THE AREA...WITH RELATIVE HUMIDITY VALUES DROPPING INTO THE
   TEENS DURING THE LATE AFTERNOON AND EARLY EVENING. THESE
   CONDITIONS...COUPLED WITH DRY VEGETATION FROM LACK OF RECENT
   SIGNIFICANT RAINFALL...WILL CREATE A CRITICAL FIRE WEATHER RISK.

   MOVE THROUGH THE EASTERN U.S. IN THE PACIFIC NORTHWEST...A SHORTWAVE
   TROUGH WILL MOVE THROUGH THAT REGION BRINGING WIDESPREAD RAIN AND
   SNOW. THEREFORE...A RELATIVELY BENIGN FIRE WEATHER PATTERN WILL
   EXIST GIVEN THE LACK OF SIGNIFICANT AREAS OF DRY...WINDY...AND WARM
   SURFACE CONDITIONS ACROSS THE CONUS.
