   A QUIET FIRE WEATHER DAY IS EXPECTED TODAY AS THE UPPER FLOW PATTERN
   AND SURFACE CONDITIONS WILL BE UNSUPPORTIVE OF LARGE SCALE CRITICAL
   FIRE WEATHER AREAS.  EARLY MORNING SATELLITE IMAGERY SHOWS AN UPPER
   DISTURBANCE OFF THE NRN BAJA COAST AND A SYSTEM OVER THE UPPER GREAT
   LAKES.  BOTH OF THESE FEATURES WILL GRADUALLY SHIFT EWD DURING THE
   PERIOD.  A SURFACE COLD FRONT WILL CONTINUE TO SURGE SWD OVER PARTS
   OF THE SRN PLAINS EARLY IN THE PERIOD USHERING IN COOLER TEMPS OVER
   MUCH OF THE CENTRAL U.S.

   SRN ROCKIES WILL GRADUALLY SHIFT EWD WHILE SURFACE HIGH PRESSURE
   WILL MOVE FROM THE PLAINS TO THE OHIO VALLEY.  A COLD FRONT
