   NATION AS A SHORTWAVE TROUGH DROPS SOUTH INTO THE PACIFIC NORTHWEST.
   THIS PATTERN WILL CONTINUE TO MAINTAIN COLD HIGH PRESSURE EXTENDING
   SOUTHEAST FROM THE NORTHERN PLAINS TOWARD THE ATLANTIC AND GULF
   COASTS. OVER THE WRN CONUS...AN UPR LVL TROUGH OFF THE COAST OF
   CALIFORNIA WILL RESULT IN RELATIVELY COOL TEMPERATURES AND

   AN AREA OF LOW PRESSURE DEVELOPS FROM THE GREAT BASIN TOWARDS THE
   CENTRAL ROCKIES. SOUTH-SOUTHWESTERLY LOW LVL FLOW WILL DEVELOP FROM
   THE DESERT SW INTO THE SRN PLAINS...WITH MODERATING TEMPERATURES AND
   A DRY LOW LVL AIRMASS DEVELOPING OVER ERN NM AND W TX.
   
   ...NERN NM AND THE TX PANHANDLE...
   SURFACE LOW PRESSURE IS FORECAST TO BE SITUATED OVER THE CNTRL
   ROCKIES. A SURFACE TROUGH AXIS EXTENDING SOUTH OF THE LOW IS
   EXPECTED TO PROGRESS EAST ACROSS PORTIONS OF THE SRN HIGH PLAINS BY
   THE AFTERNOON. RH VALUES MAY BRIEFLY FALL INTO THE TEENS WEST OF THE
   TROUGH OVER NERN NM AND THE TX PANHANDLE...WITH SUSTAINED WINDS NEAR
   20 MPH AND GUSTS UP TO 30 MPH. ALTHOUGH A CRITICAL AREA WILL NOT BE
   ISSUED AT THIS TIME...THESE CONDITIONS WILL PROMOTE AN ELEVATED FIRE
