   DRY AIR MASS WILL RESIDE AHEAD OF THIS TROUGH FROM ERN AZ INTO
   TX...WITH GUSTY WINDS AND LOW RH CREATING CRITICAL FIRE CONDITIONS
   THIS AFTERNOON. ELSEWHERE ACROSS THE CONUS...RELATIVELY COOL AND/OR
   MOIST CONDITIONS WILL RESULT IN A LOW FIRE THREAT.

   PRIMARY CONDITIONS: STRONG WINDS...LOW RH
   
   WITH MODERATELY SW FLOW ALOFT...STRONG MIXING WILL YIELD SUSTAINED
   SW WINDS NEAR 20 MPH WITH GUSTS OVER 30 MPH THIS AFTERNOON. MIN RH
   SHOULD GENERALLY RANGE IN THE 10-15 PERCENT RANGE...WHICH WILL
   COMBINE WITH STEEP LOW TO MID LEVEL LAPSE RATES TO CREATE A FEW
   HOURS OF CRITICAL CONDITIONS THIS AFTERNOON.

   AND NM...CREATING CRITICAL FIRE CONDITIONS.  TO THE E...THE RIDGE
   AXIS WILL BE CENTERED OVER THE SRN PLAINS WITH WARM WEATHER AND LATE
   DAY STORMS. ELSEWHERE...PRECIPITATION AND RELATIVELY COOL WEATHER
   WILL EXTEND FROM THE NRN GREAT BASIN BENEATH THE UPPER TROUGH EWD
   INTO THE MIDWEST WHERE COOL HIGH PRESSURE WILL EXIST.

   PRIMARY CONDITIONS: STRONG WINDS...LOW RH
   
   SW WINDS WILL INCREASE TO 20-30 MPH ON SAT AS AN UPPER TROUGH
   GLANCES THE AREA. WIND GUSTS OVER 30 MPH WILL BE COMMON..ESPECIALLY
   OVER NM. MIN RH WILL GENERALLY BE IN THE LOWER TEENS. LAPSE RATES
   WILL NOT BE QUITE AS STEEP AS THE PREVIOUS FEW DAYS...BUT INCREASED
   WIND SPEEDS SHOULD RESULT IN CRITICAL CONDITIONS DURING THE
