   AN UNSEASONABLY STRONG UPPER TROUGH CENTERED ROUGHLY OVER SWRN ID AS
   OF 07Z WILL CONTINUE TO VERY SLOWLY PROGRESS EWD BECOMING CENTERED
   OVER THE NRN HIGH PLAINS AND EXTENDING SWWD TOWARDS SRN CA BY LATE
   AFTERNOON. AS THIS OCCURS...A SURFACE LOW WILL DEVELOP EWD BECOMING
   CENTERED ROUGHLY NEAR THE SD/MN BORDER AND A TROUGH AXIS WILL EXTEND
   SWWD TOWARDS SERN CO AND SWD THROUGH ERN NM. SLY WINDS WILL INCREASE
   ACROSS PORTIONS OF THE CNTRL/SRN PLAINS IN RESPONSE TO THE UPPER
   SYSTEM AND AS THE SURFACE PRESSURE GRADIENT INCREASES BETWEEN THE
   AFOREMENTIONED LOW PRESSURE AND A HIGH TO THE E. STRONG/GUSTY WINDS
   WILL ALIGN WITH MARGINALLY LOW RHS TO SUPPORT AN ENHANCED FIRE
   THREAT OVER THESE AREAS.
   
   ...NERN NM/TX AND OK PANHANDLES/SWRN KS/SERN CO...
   AS THE UPPER LOW CONTINUES TO PROGRESS EWD...DRIER MID/UPPER LEVEL
   AIR SEEN ON WATER VAPOR IMAGERY OVER THE FOUR CORNERS REGION WILL
   PROGRESS EWD AS WELL...WITH DRYING OCCURRING OVER MUCH OF THE
   CNTRL/SRN PLAINS. TEMPERATURES WILL QUICKLY WARM INTO THE UPPER 90S
   TO NEAR 104 F BY MID/LATE AFTERNOON. RHS IN THE TEENS CAN BE
   ANTICIPATED ACROSS SERN CO/NERN NM THOUGH WITH SUSTAINED SURFACE
   WINDS REMAINING MARGINAL AT 15 TO 20 MPH. MEANWHILE...STRONGER WINDS
   NEAR 25 TO 35 MPH CAN BE EXPECTED TO THE E...BUT WITH MARGINAL RHS
   IN THE LOWER 20S.

   AFTERNOON. A SURFACE COLD FRONT WILL EXTEND FROM S CNTRL ONTARIO
   THROUGH THE GREAT LAKES REGION SWWD THROUGH THE CNTRL PLAINS AND WWD
   INTO SRN CO. S OF THIS...HOT AND DRY CONDITIONS WILL PERSIST AT THE
   SURFACE FROM PORTIONS OF THE CNTRL/SRN PLAINS WWD...THOUGH WITH
   SUBCRITICAL WINDS.
   
   AHEAD OF THIS...UPPER RIDGING WILL AMPLIFY ACROSS THE SERN/MID
   ATLANTIC...WITH ABOVE NORMAL TEMPERATURES RESULTING AT THE SURFACE
   BENEATH STRONG SUBSIDENCE. RELATIVE HUMIDITIES WILL GENERALLY REMAIN
   ABOVE CRITICAL THRESHOLDS.
