   SERN CO. S OF THIS...GUSTY BUT SUBCRITICAL SLY WINDS WILL ALIGN WITH
   MARGINAL RHS. MEANWHILE ACROSS THE SWRN STATES...HOT AND DRY
   CONDITIONS WILL PERSIST...THOUGH WITH LIGHT WINDS.
   
   TO THE E...AN UPPER RIDGE WILL BEGIN TO AMPLIFY OVER THE MID
   ATLANTIC/SERN STATES...WHILE SURFACE HIGH PRESSURE REMAINS CENTERED
   OFF THE N/S CAROLINA COASTS. ALTHOUGH ABOVE NORMAL TEMPERATURES WILL

   MEANWHILE AS THE UPPER TROUGH APPROACHES...HIGH PRESSURE IN THE SERN
   STATES WILL FLATTEN AND BUILD WWD ACROSS THE SRN PLAINS. HOT
   CONDITIONS WILL PERSIST AT THE SURFACE...THOUGH WITH RH VALUES ABOVE
   CRITICAL THRESHOLDS. 
   
   IN THE WEST...AN UPPER TROUGH WILL APPROACH COASTAL BRITISH
   COLUMBIA. DESPITE STRONG SWLY MID/UPPER LEVEL WINDS OVERSPREADING
   THE PACIFIC NORTHWEST...AN INCREASE IN MOISTURE AND LOW MIXING
   HEIGHTS WILL PREVENT STRONGER WINDS FROM REACHING THE SURFACE. AHEAD
   OF THIS...UPPER RIDGING WILL AMPLIFY OVER THE INTERMOUNTAIN
   WEST...WITH HOT AND DRY CONDITIONS PERSISTING ACROSS A WIDESPREAD
   AREA...THOUGH WITH LIGHT WINDS.
