   THE UPPER LEVEL FLOW WILL REMAIN LITTLE CHANGED THROUGH THE PERIOD
   WITH A WEAK TROUGH OVER THE EAST AND A STRONG HIGH PRESSURE AREA
   OVER THE SOUTHWEST. A TROUGH WILL REMAIN OVER THE PACIFIC NORTHWEST.
   MID LEVEL MOISTURE WILL BE FLOWING NORTHWARD INTO THE UTAH AREA
   DURING THE PERIOD...POSSIBLY PRODUCING SOME DRY THUNDERSTORMS.
   
   ...CRITICAL FIRE WEATHER AREA - SW/CNTRL UT...
   
   PRIMARY CONDITIONS: DRY THUNDERSTORMS
   
   MID LEVEL MOISTURE FLOWING NORTHWARD AROUND THE WESTERN EDGE OF THE
   UPPER LEVEL HIGH OVER ARIZONA/NEW MEXICO WILL LIKELY BE SUFFICIENT
   FOR WIDELY SCATTERED TO SCATTERED DRY THUNDERSTORMS THIS AFTERNOON.
   SURFACE TEMPERATURES WILL GENERALLY BE IN THE 90S AND LOWER LEVEL
   HUMIDITY WILL BE IN THE 10 TO 20 PERCENT RANGE AND MOST FUELS ARE
   VERY DRY WITH A VERY HIGH FIRE DANGER.

   NORTHEAST AND WEAKENING WITH TIME.  THE UPPER LEVEL HIGH OVER THE
   SOUTHWEST U.S. WILL BE SLIGHTLY DEPRESSED AS THE TROUGH AND
   ASSOCIATED WEAK COLD FRONT OVER THE PACIFIC NORTHWEST WILL MOVE
   FURTHER INTO THE NORTHWEST U.S.  AS A RESULT...WINDS WILL STRENGTHEN
   A LITTLE OVER THE GREAT BASIN.  ELSEWHERE...WINDS WILL GENERALLY BE
   LIGHT.

   WITH THE APPROACHING UPPER LEVEL TROUGH...WINDS FROM A SOUTHWEST TO
   WESTERLY DIRECTION WILL STRENGTHEN AND MIX DOWN TO THE SURFACE
   DURING THE AFTERNOON...APPROACHING CRITICAL FIRE WEATHER CONDITIONS.
   
   
   ...ERN NV/MUCH OF UT...
   WINDS FROM A SOUTHWEST TO WESTERLY DIRECTION WILL INCREASE ON
   THURSDAY.  ALSO...WITH CONTINUED MID LEVEL MOISTURE INCREASING OVER
   THE AREA...THERE WILL BE SOME WIDELY SCATTERED TO SCATTERED
   THUNDERSTORMS...MAINLY IN UTAH AND A FEW MAY BE DRY...ALTHOUGH MORE
   STORMS ON THURSDAY COULD PRODUCE WETTING RAINS ACROSS UTAH.
