   NORTHWEST...WITH AN ATTENDANT SURFACE COLD FRONT PUSHING EWD/SEWD
   THROUGH WA/ORE/NRN CA AND THE ID PANHANDLE THROUGH THE PERIOD. GUSTY
   WINDS MAY BRIEFLY ALIGN WITH LOW RH IN PORTIONS OF CNTRL/ERN WA AND
   ORE DURING THE AFTERNOON AHEAD OF THE FRONT BEFORE MARINE AIR
   QUICKLY PUSHES INLAND...WHILE SLY WINDS IN ASSOCIATION WITH THE
   TROUGH LEAD TO ABOVE NORMAL TEMPERATURES. ALTHOUGH 07Z LIGHTNING
   DATA SHOWS QUITE A BIT OF ACTIVITY OFFSHORE...MUCH OF THIS
   INSTABILITY WILL MOVE NEWD INTO BRITISH COLUMBIA BY AFTERNOON...WITH
   ONLY ISOLATED STRIKES AT BEST ACROSS WA. PWAT IMAGERY REFLECTS
   SIGNIFICANT MOISTURE...AND ANY THUNDERSTORMS THAT CAN DEVELOP WILL
   BE WET IN NATURE.
   
   ELSEWHERE...UPPER RIDGING WILL CONTINUE TO DOMINATE IN PORTIONS OF
   CA/NV WITH HOT AND DRY CONDITIONS AT THE SURFACE...WHILE A SEPARATE
   UPPER HIGH WILL LINGER OVER ERN MT. AN UPPER LOW WILL SLOWLY DRIFT
   SWD THROUGH THE FOUR CORNERS REGION...WITH WET THUNDERSTORMS
   AFFECTING MUCH OF THE INTERMOUNTAIN WEST.

   ERN MT/NERN WY. SUSTAINED WINDS NEAR 15 TO 20 MPH WITH OCCASIONAL
   GUSTS WILL ALIGN WITH HOT AND DRY CONDITIONS...LEADING TO AN
   ELEVATED FIRE THREAT. 
   
   MEANWHILE IN THE WAKE OF THE UPPER TROUGH...HIGH PRESSURE WILL EDGE
   EWD INTO THE COASTAL STATES...WITH WEAK OFFSHORE WINDS CONTINUING IN
   SRN/CNTRL CA. HOT AND DRY CONDITIONS WILL PREVAIL...WITH ABOVE
   NORMAL TEMPERATURES. WINDS WILL REMAIN SUBCRITICAL.
