   GORGE...
...CRITICAL FIRE WEATHER AREA FOR FAR SRN NV INTO THE CO RIVER
   VALLEY OF NWRN AZ/SERN CA...

   ...SYNOPSIS...
A STRONG UPPER RIDGE WILL REMAIN OVER THE WEST COAST WITH CONTINUED
VERY HOT AND DRY WEATHER. AT THE SURFACE...HIGH PRESSURE WILL COVER
MUCH OF THE INTERMOUNTAIN W AND PLAINS STATES...HELPING TO PRODUCE
OFFSHORE FLOW FROM WRN ORE INTO SRN CA AND INTO THE LOWER CO RIVER
VALLEY. ELSEWHERE...WIDESPREAD RAIN WILL OCCUR ALONG A COLD FRONT
FROM SRN AND ERN TX INTO THE MIDWEST...WITH COOL CONDITIONS OVER THE
   PLAINS UNDER THE UPPER LOW.

...CRITICAL FIRE WEATHER AREA - INLAND SRN CA...

PRIMARY CONDITIONS: LOCALLY GUSTY OFFSHORE WINDS...LONG DURATION OF
EXTREMELY LOW RH AND A HIGH HAINES INDEX

GUSTY WINDS IN EXCESS OF 20-30 MPH WILL BE ONGOING THIS MORNING
BELOW PASSES AND CANYONS MAINLY OVER INLAND VENTURA AND LOS ANGELES
COUNTIES...AS WELL AS ACROSS THE MTNS OF SAN BERNARDINO AND
RIVERSIDE COUNTIES. THE DAY WILL BEGIN DRY AND RH WILL DROP FURTHER
INTO THE SINGLE DIGITS WITH DAYTIME HEATING...WITH SOME AREAS AS LOW
AS 3-5 PERCENT. GUSTY NELY WINDS WILL PERSIST OVERNIGHT...WITH
LITTLE TO NO RH RECOVERY. THE SHALLOW MARINE LAYER ALONG THE COAST
WILL LIKELY RETREAT BY EARLY WED MORNING...WITH MUCH LOWER RH AS A
   RESULT.

...CRITICAL FIRE WEATHER AREA - NRN CA NWD TO THE COLUMBIA GORGE...

   INDEX

GUSTY ELY WINDS WITH GUSTS OF 20-30 MPH WILL BE ONGOING THIS
MORNING...WITH LOW RH IN THE TEENS ALREADY IN PLACE OVER SW ORE. RH
WILL DROP FURTHER INTO THE SINGLE DIGITS DURING THE DAY. THE
EXTREMELY WARM AND DRY AIR MASS WILL FAVOR VERTICAL FIRE GROWTH THIS
AFTERNOON. THE COMBINATION OF EXTREME RH AND GUSTY WINDS WILL RESULT
IN POTENTIALLY DANGEROUS FIRE WEATHER CONDITIONS TODAY.

...CRITICAL FIRE WEATHER AREA - FAR SRN NV INTO THE CO RIVER VALLEY
   OF NWRN AZ/SERN CA...

PRIMARY CONDITIONS: STRONG NLY WINDS AND EXTREMELY LOW RH

A STRONG N-S PRESSURE GRADIENT WILL REMAIN IN PLACE
TODAY...RESULTING IN SUSTAINED WINDS IN EXCESS OF 20 MPH WITH GUSTS
OVER 30 MPH FROM SRN NV INTO THE DESERTS OF WRN AZ/SERN CA. WITH
FULL HEATING...MIN RH VALUES WILL DROP DANGEROUSLY LOW INTO THE
   SINGLE DIGITS.

   ...SYNOPSIS...
THE WEATHER PATTERN WILL BE SIMILAR TO THE PREVIOUS DAY WITH AN
UPPER LOW OVER THE CNTRL HIGH PLAINS...AND A RIDGE FROM NRN CA INTO
