   SUPERIOR SWWD THROUGH CNTRL KS...THEN WWD INTO CO/UT BY
   AFTERNOON/EVENING. MEANWHILE A SURFACE TROUGH WILL LINGER OVER ERN
   NM/WRN TX...WITH SUSTAINED WIND SPEEDS NEAR 20 MPH ACCOMPANIED BY
   GUSTS TO 30 MPH WILL BE LIKELY BY AFTERNOON AS HEATING/MIXING ALLOWS
   STRONGER WINDS TO REACH THE SURFACE. HOWEVER...MARGINAL RELATIVE
   HUMIDITIES WILL PRECLUDE A CRITICAL ISSUANCE.

   THE WRN EDGE OF AN UPPER JET MAX WILL INCREASE NLY FLOW OVER SRN CA
   THROUGH THE D2 PERIOD...WHILE SURFACE HIGH PRESSURE BUILDS
   SWD/EWD...LEADING TO AN INCREASED SURFACE PRESSURE GRADIENT THROUGH
   THE PERIOD. WIND GUSTS NEAR 40 MPH CAN BE EXPECTED THROUGH FAVORABLE
   PASSES AND CANYONS OF THE SANTA YNEZ MOUNTAINS AND THE I-5 CORRIDOR
   IN THE LOS ANGELES COUNTY MOUNTAINS. ALTHOUGH SOME DRYING WILL OCCUR
   IN DOWNSLOPE WINDS...RELATIVE HUMIDITIES ARE NOT ANTICIPATED TO FALL
   BELOW CRITICAL THRESHOLDS DURING THE D2 TIME FRAME. SHOULD LOWER
   RELATIVE HUMIDITIES APPEAR LIKELY...A CRITICAL WILL OUTLINE WILL
   NEED TO BE ISSUED.
