   A DEEP TROUGH WILL BE LOCATED OVER THE WRN CONUS TODAY. A STRONG
   UPPER LEVEL JET MAX OVER SRN TX WILL HELP GENERATE VERY GUSTY WLY
   SFC WINDS DURING THE AFTERNOON. A COLD FRONT WILL PUSH SE ACROSS OK
   AND TX DURING THE MORNING AS A SFC LOW OVER THE CENTRAL PLAINS
   PUSHES EWD. ACROSS THE ERN CONUS...A HIGHLY AMPLIFIED RIDGE WILL
   REMAIN IN PLACE BRINGING LIGHT SLY SFC WINDS AND HIGH RH VALUES.
   
   ...CRITICAL FIRE WEATHER AREA - PORTIONS OF SW TX...
   
   PRIMARY CONDITIONS: STRONG SFC WINDS AND LOW RH VALUES
   
   A STRONG LOW LEVEL JET NEAR 60 KTS COMBINED WITH A TIGHT SFC
   PRESSURE GRADIENT AND LOW RH VALUES ACROSS SWRN TX WILL CREATE
   CRITICAL FIRE WEATHER CONDITIONS THIS AFTERNOON. A STRONG SFC LOW
   OVER THE CENTRAL PLAINS WILL BRING A COLD FRONT THROUGH THE AREA
   THIS MORNING AND WLY SFC WINDS WILL GUST TO AROUND 50 KTS WITH
   SUSTAINED WIND SPEEDS AROUND 30 KTS. FORECAST SOUNDINGS INDICATE THE
   DEWPOINTS WILL FALL INTO THE UPPER TEENS TO LOW 20S ALLOWING RH
   VALUES TO RANGE FROM THE MID TEENS TO LOW 20S. FURTHER NW A BAND OF
   LIGHT PRECIPITATION WILL LIMIT CRITICAL CONDITIONS. FURTHER E
   HOWEVER...LITTLE IF ANY PRECIPITATION IS EXPECTED AND DRYING SHOULD
   BE MAXIMIZED. GIVEN THE VERY WINDY CONDITIONS EXPECTED...ANY FIRE
   THAT MAY START WOULD SPREAD RAPIDLY.

   TEENS TO LOW 20S. WLY TO NWLY SFC GUSTS OF 30 TO 40 KTS ARE POSSIBLE
