   DAY 1 FIRE WEATHER OUTLOOK
NWS STORM PREDICTION CENTER NORMAN OK
   0128 AM CST WED FEB 10 2010

   VALID 101200Z - 111200Z

   ...NO CRITICAL AREAS...

   ...SYNOPSIS...
A COLD AIRMASS WILL RESIDE OVER MUCH OF THE LOWER 48. DEPARTING
SYSTEM AFFECTING PARTS OF THE ERN SEABOARD WILL CONTINUE TO MOVE EWD
INTO THE WRN ATLANTIC AS A SHORTWAVE TROUGH TRACKS EWD ALONG THE
U.S. MEXICAN BORDER. HIGH PRESSURE WILL INFLUENCE WEATHER
CONDITIONS OVER MUCH OF THE U.S. WITH COOLER AND DRIER AIR FILTERING
   SWD THROUGH THE FL PENINSULA.

...S CNTRL AND S AREAS OF THE FL PENINSULA...
COOL DRY AIRMASS WILL WARM INTO THE 50S-LOWER 60S DEG F DURING PEAK
HEATING LEADING TO WIDESPREAD LOW RH /MID 20S-MID 30S/ ACROSS
INTERIOR PORTIONS OF THE PENINSULA. A MODEST PRESSURE GRADIENT
ACROSS THE REGION WILL SUPPORT SUSTAINED WINDS BRIEFLY APPROACHING
15 MPH. A LOCALIZED AREA NEAR LAKE OKEECHOBEE IS WHERE FUEL
RECEPTIVENESS MAY BE SLIGHTLY ENHANCED AND IS WHERE CONDITIONS/FUELS
MAY BE LEAST CONSTRAINED. HOWEVER...LIMITED FUEL RECEPTIVENESS DUE
TO NON-DROUGHT CONDITIONS/RECENT RAINFALL WILL COMBINE WITH
RELATIVELY SHORT DURATION OF LOW RH ACROSS THE REGION TEMPERING AN
   OTHERWISE GREATER FIRE WEATHER THREAT.
