   EJECT FROM THE LOWER CO RIVER VALLEY ONTO THE SRN HIGH PLAINS BY
   EARLY MON.

   SUBSTANTIAL TROPOSPHERIC DRYING COMMENCED LATE SAT IN THE WAKE OF AN
   UPPER-LEVEL TROUGH/SURFACE COLD FRONT PASSAGE. MODERATE W/NWLY
   LOW-LEVEL FLOW ALONG WITH ABUNDANT SUNSHINE WILL PROMOTE LOW RH
   VALUES OF 25 TO 35 PERCENT AS TEMPERATURES WARM INTO THE UPPER 50S
   TO MIDDLE 60S. SUSTAINED SURFACE WINDS OF 10 TO 15 MPH WILL BE
   COMMON. RAINFALL OF 0.10 TO 0.50 IN ON SAT ACROSS MOST OF THE
   NRN/CNTRL PORTIONS OF THE PENINSULA SHOULD HELP SUBDUE THE OVERALL

   LARGE-SCALE TROUGH APPROACHING THE WEST COAST.

   IN THE WAKE OF A PACIFIC FRONT PASSAGE MON MORNING...STRONG
   LOW-LEVEL NWLYS WILL RESULT IN SUBSTANTIAL DRYING. THIS WILL BE
   AIDED BY DOWNSLOPE EFFECTS...MAXIMIZED IMMEDIATELY ALONG THE
   INTERNATIONAL BORDER FROM NEAR KLRD TO KMFE. HERE...SHORT-DURATION
   CRITICAL CONDITIONS APPEAR PROBABLE IN THE LATE AFTERNOON.
   TEMPERATURES WILL RISE INTO THE MIDDLE TO UPPER 70S LEADING TO RH
   VALUES FALLING TO AROUND 20 PERCENT. A DEEPLY MIXED BOUNDARY LAYER
   WILL SUPPORT SUSTAINED SURFACE WINDS NEAR 20 MPH.
