   ...SYNOPSIS...
AN UPPER TROUGH NEAR THE CA/NV/AZ BORDER AS OF 06Z WILL QUICKLY MOVE
EWD AND PHASE WITH AN UPPER TROUGH OVER THE SRN ROCKIES BY
AFTERNOON...WITH A SURFACE LOW DEEPENING OVER SERN NM/SWRN TX IN
RESPONSE TO THE UPPER SYSTEM. MEANWHILE...A SURFACE HIGH CENTERED
OVER THE NRN ROCKIES WILL QUICKLY BUILD SWD AND EWD...DRIVING A COLD
FRONT AT THE SURFACE SEWD ACROSS MUCH OF THE CENTRAL U.S..

ELSEWHERE...BRIEF OFFSHORE FLOW WILL AFFECT SRN CA/SWRN AZ IN THE
WAKE OF THE UPPER TROUGH...THOUGH DESPITE LOW RELATIVE

PRIMARY CONDITIONS: LOW RH AND STRONG WINDS

AS THE UPPER TROUGH APPROACHES...A DEEPENING SURFACE LOW NEAR THE
SERN NM/SWRN TX BORDERS WILL INCREASE SURFACE WINDS OVER THE AREA
AHEAD OF AN APPROACHING COLD FRONT. WARM TEMPERATURES IN THE 70S AND
DRY AIR MASS WILL RESULT IN MIXING HEIGHTS NEAR 9000-10000
FT...ALLOWING STRONGER WLY WINDS ALOFT TO REACH THE SURFACE...WITH
SUSTAINED SPEEDS NEAR 15 TO 20 MPH AND OCCASIONAL GUSTS ANTICIPATED.
RELATIVE HUMIDITIES WILL DROP INTO THE TEENS. ALTHOUGH RELATIVE
HUMIDITIES WILL QUICKLY RECOVER OVERNIGHT...AN ABRUPT WIND SHIFT
WILL OCCUR BY LATE EVENING AS THE FRONT CONTINUES SWD.

   ...FLORIDA...
A DRY AIR MASS WILL SHIFT EWD OVER MUCH OF THE SOUTHEAST AS BRIEF
UPPER RIDGING AND A SURFACE HIGH MOVE OVER THE AREA. ALTHOUGH WINDS
WILL BE LIGHT...EXTENDED DURATIONS OF CRITICALLY LOW RELATIVE
HUMIDITIES ARE ANTICIPATED ACROSS MUCH OF FLORIDA THIS
AFTERNOON...WITH THE EXCEPTION OF IMMEDIATE COASTAL AREAS WHERE
LIGHT ONSHORE FLOW WILL KEEP RELATIVE HUMIDITIES ABOVE CRITICAL
   THRESHOLDS.
