   THE SEVERE WEATHER THREAT FOR SEVERE THUNDERSTORM WATCH 625
   CONTINUES.
   
   SUMMARY...MCS WILL LIKELY PROGRESS E/SEWD WITH A SCATTERED DAMAGING
   WIND THREAT PERSISTING. A NEW WW DOWNSTREAM OF WW 625 MAY BECOME
   NECESSARY IN THE NEXT COUPLE OF HOURS.
   
   DISCUSSION...MCS CENTERED IN SERN MO HAS CONTINUED TO INCREASE IN
   SPATIAL EXTENT AS IT OVERTAKES NEARLY STATIONARY CELLS ALONG A
   LOW-LEVEL CONFLUENCE AXIS EXTENDING EWD INTO FAR SRN IL. GIVEN A
   STRONGLY BUOYANT AIR MASS DOWNSTREAM AND COLD POOL TEMPERATURES IN
   THE 60S...POTENTIAL WILL EXIST FOR THE MCS TO ACCELERATE TO E/SE.
   ALTHOUGH THIS MCS MAY BE LARGELY CONTAINED WITHIN WW 625 IN THE NEXT
   COUPLE OF HOURS...THE ATTENDANT DAMAGING WIND THREAT /REF 46 KT GUST
   AT KVIH AT 2001Z/ SHOULD PERSIST THROUGH SUNSET AND WILL PROBABLY
   DEVELOP E OF THE WW BOUNDS.
