   CONCERNING...TORNADO WATCH 142...143...

   VALID 112231Z - 120000Z

   THE SEVERE WEATHER THREAT FOR TORNADO WATCH 142...143...CONTINUES.

   SUMMARY...SEVERAL SUPERCELLS ARE UNDERWAY ACROSS WRN KS INTO S-CNTRL
   NEB...WITH LARGE HAIL AND DAMAGING WINDS THE MAIN SHORT-TERM THREAT.
   SOME INCREASE IN TORNADO THREAT MAY OCCUR TOWARDS EVENING WITH ANY
   REMAINING DISCRETE CELLS.

   DISCUSSION...AT 22Z...LOW PRESSURE IS LOCATED OVER N-CNTRL KS...WITH
   A DIFFUSE DRYLINE EXTENDING TO THE SSW OF THE SFC LOW. A COLD FRONT
   LIES TO JUST TO THE WEST OF THE DRYLINE FROM THE OK PANHANDLE NEWD
   TOWARD THE SFC LOW AND THEN NEWD INTO NERN NEB. DISCRETE SUPERCELLS
   ARE ONGOING AHEAD OF THE DRYLINE...WITH SOME RECENT REDEVELOPMENT
   NOTED FURTHER WEST WHERE THE COLD FRONT IS INTERSECTING THE DRYLINE.

   STRONG INSTABILITY AND DEEP-LAYER SHEAR WILL CONTINUE TO SUPPORT
   SUPERCELLS WITH A THREAT OF LARGE HAIL IN EXCESS OF 2 INCHES IN
   DIAMETER...AS WELL AS SOME THREAT OF DAMAGING WINDS. THE TORNADO
   THREAT WILL BE LIMITED BY LARGE T/TD SPREADS IN THE NEAR
   TERM...THOUGH AS THE BOUNDARY LAYER COOLS AND THE LOW-LEVEL JET
   INCREASES TOWARD EVENING...SOME INCREASE IN TORNADO THREAT IS
   POSSIBLE BY 00Z WITH ANY DISCRETE CELLS. MORE LINEAR DEVELOPMENT IS
   POSSIBLE ALONG THE COLD FRONT AS IT ADVANCES SEWD...WITH A THREAT OF
   DAMAGING WINDS AND LARGE HAIL.

   PLEASE REFER TO MCD 566 FOR MORE INFORMATION REGARDING A DANGEROUS
   TORNADIC SUPERCELL APPROACHING LINCOLN NE TO THE NORTHEAST OF THIS
   MCD AREA.
