   THE SEVERE WEATHER THREAT FOR SEVERE THUNDERSTORM WATCH 387
   CONTINUES.

   SUMMARY...SOME INCREASE IN CONVECTIVE INTENSITY IS POSSIBLE ACROSS
   PORTIONS OF SWRN SC AS THE CURRENT LINE OF STORMS CONTINUES SEWD.
   PRIMARY SVR THREAT IS DAMAGING WIND GUSTS.

   DISCUSSION...17Z CHS RAOB REVEALS A MODERATELY UNSTABLE ENVIRONMENT
   DOWNSTREAM FROM THE LINE OF TSTMS CURRENTLY MOVING THOUGH FAR
   E-CNTRL GA AND SW SC. WIND SPEEDS HAVE SHOWN LITTLE CHANGE FROM THE
   12Z SOUNDING WITH A LAYER OF MODERATE WLY FLOW STILL PRESENT BETWEEN
   1 AND 4 KM. SLIGHTLY STRONGER MID-LEVEL WINDS WERE SAMPLED BY RECENT
   FFC VAD PROFILES WITH WINDS FROM 40 TO 50 KT IN THE 1 TO 4 KM LAYER.
   THE EXPECTATION IS FOR THESE SLIGHTLY HIGHER WIND SPEEDS TO CONTINUE
   EWD AND...WHEN COUPLED WITH THE MODERATE INSTABILITY
   DOWNSTREAM...FOSTER INCREASED CONVECTIVE INTENSITY ALONG THE LEADING
   EDGE OF THE SEWD PROGRESSING COOL POOLS /ONE COOL POOL IS ASSOCIATED
   WITH THE CLUSTER CURRENTLY ENTERING WILKINSON AND WASHINGTON
   COUNTIES IN GA AND THE OTHER FARTHER SE FROM SCREVEN COUNTY GA NEWD
   TO BERKELEY COUNTY SC/. AS SUCH...PRECIP LOADING AND
   FORWARD-PROPAGATION WILL CONTINUE POSE A THREAT FOR DAMAGING WIND
   GUSTS ACROSS PORTIONS OF WW 387.
