   THE SEVERE WEATHER THREAT FOR SEVERE THUNDERSTORM WATCH 493
   CONTINUES.

   SUMMARY...THE POTENTIAL FOR MAINLY ISOLATED DAMAGING WINDS WILL
   CONTINUE THROUGH THE LATE AFTERNOON/EARLY EVENING HOURS ACROSS
   EAST-CENTRAL MO INTO SOUTHWEST/CENTRAL IL. SEVERE THUNDERSTORM WATCH
   493 CONTINUES UNTIL 02Z.

   DISCUSSION...ASSOCIATED WITH SEVERAL CORRIDORS OF LOW-LEVEL
   CONFLUENCE/DIFFERENTIAL HEATING...MULTIPLE BANDS OF STORMS CONTINUE
   TO DEVELOP ACROSS EAST-CENTRAL MO/ST LOUIS VICINITY INTO SOUTHWEST
   IL AS OF 3PM CDT/20Z. THE AMBIENT AIR MASS IS MOIST AND MODERATELY
   UNSTABLE WITH UPWARDS OF 1500-2000 J/KG MLCAPE ACROSS THE MAJORITY
   OF THIS CORRIDOR /OUTSIDE OF RECENT CONVECTION/. AS ADDITIONAL
   HEATING OCCURS IN THE SHORT-TERM...STRENGTHENING DEEP-LAYER
   SOUTHWESTERLY WINDS VIA A GLANCING MCV...AS ALREADY BEGINNING TO
   SHOW UP IN MID/HIGHER-LEVEL WSR-88D VWP DATA FROM ST LOUIS/LINCOLN
   IL...SHOULD ALLOW FOR INCREASING STORM INTENSITY/ORGANIZATION
   THROUGH LATE AFTERNOON/EARLY EVENING. ISOLATED DAMAGING WINDS WILL
   BE THE MOST PROBABLE HAZARD...BUT MARGINALLY SEVERE HAIL AND/OR A
   BRIEF TORNADO MAY ALSO BE POSSIBLE...PARTICULARLY AS
