   ...NO SEVERE THUNDERSTORM AREAS FORECAST...

   ...SUMMARY...
A threat of severe storms is not expected across the contiguous
   United States today and tonight.

   ...DISCUSSION...
An upper-level trough will move across the Great Lakes and Ohio
Valley today as a cold front moves southeastward into the Southeast.
Thunderstorm development should take place along parts of the front
this afternoon from the Arklatex east-northeastward into the
Carolinas and Mid-Atlantic. Although an isolated strong wind gust or
two can not be ruled out, instability should remain weak and a
severe threat is not expected along the front today or tonight.
