   TORNADO WATCH NUMBER 718
   NWS STORM PREDICTION CENTER NORMAN OK
   130 AM CDT THU OCT 18 2007
   
   THE NWS STORM PREDICTION CENTER HAS ISSUED A
   TORNADO WATCH FOR PORTIONS OF 
   
          EASTERN ARKANSAS
          THE MISSOURI BOOTHEEL
          NORTHERN MISSISSIPPI
          WESTERN TENNESSEE
   
   EFFECTIVE THIS THURSDAY MORNING FROM 130 AM UNTIL 900 AM CDT.
   
   TORNADOES...HAIL TO 1 INCH IN DIAMETER...THUNDERSTORM WIND GUSTS
   TO 70 MPH...AND DANGEROUS LIGHTNING ARE POSSIBLE IN THESE AREAS.
   
   THE TORNADO WATCH AREA IS APPROXIMATELY ALONG AND 80 STATUTE
   MILES EAST AND WEST OF A LINE FROM 40 MILES NORTH NORTHEAST OF
   DYERSBURG TENNESSEE TO 25 MILES SOUTHWEST OF OXFORD MISSISSIPPI.
