   TORNADO WATCH NUMBER 106
   NWS STORM PREDICTION CENTER NORMAN OK
   145 AM CDT MON APR 28 2014

   THE NWS STORM PREDICTION CENTER HAS ISSUED A

   * TORNADO WATCH FOR PORTIONS OF 
     NORTHEAST ARKANSAS
     MISSOURI BOOTHEEL
     NORTHWEST MISSISSIPPI
     WESTERN TENNESSEE

   * EFFECTIVE THIS MONDAY MORNING FROM 145 AM UNTIL 800 AM CDT.

   * PRIMARY THREATS INCLUDE...
     A FEW TORNADOES AND A COUPLE INTENSE TORNADOES POSSIBLE
     ISOLATED DAMAGING WIND GUSTS TO 70 MPH POSSIBLE
     ISOLATED LARGE HAIL EVENTS TO 1 INCH IN DIAMETER POSSIBLE

   THE TORNADO WATCH AREA IS APPROXIMATELY ALONG AND 60 STATUTE
   MILES EAST AND WEST OF A LINE FROM 45 MILES NORTHWEST OF
   DYERSBURG TENNESSEE TO 35 MILES SOUTHWEST OF OXFORD MISSISSIPPI.

   REMEMBER...A TORNADO WATCH MEANS CONDITIONS ARE FAVORABLE FOR
   TORNADOES AND SEVERE THUNDERSTORMS IN AND CLOSE TO THE WATCH
   AREA. PERSONS IN THESE AREAS SHOULD BE ON THE LOOKOUT FOR
   THREATENING WEATHER CONDITIONS AND LISTEN FOR LATER STATEMENTS
   AND POSSIBLE WARNINGS.
