   SEVERE THUNDERSTORM WATCH NUMBER 111
   NWS STORM PREDICTION CENTER NORMAN OK
   640 PM EDT TUE APR 26 2016

   THE NWS STORM PREDICTION CENTER HAS ISSUED A

   * SEVERE THUNDERSTORM WATCH FOR PORTIONS OF 
     SOUTHEAST INDIANA
     MUCH OF CENTRAL AND EASTERN KENTUCKY
     SOUTHERN OHIO
     WESTERN VIRGINIA
     MUCH OF WEST VIRGINIA

   * EFFECTIVE THIS TUESDAY NIGHT AND WEDNESDAY MORNING FROM 640 PM
     UNTIL 200 AM EDT.

   * PRIMARY THREATS INCLUDE...
     SCATTERED DAMAGING WIND GUSTS TO 65 MPH POSSIBLE
     ISOLATED LARGE HAIL EVENTS TO 1.5 INCHES IN DIAMETER POSSIBLE

   SUMMARY...STRONG/SCATTERED SEVERE THUNDERSTORMS ARE FORECAST TO
   CONTINUE SPREADING EASTWARD ACROSS THE MID OHIO VALLEY REGION AND
   VICINITY THIS EVENING.  LOCALLY DAMAGING WINDS AND LARGE HAIL CAN BE
   EXPECTED IN CONJUNCTION WITH STRONGER CELLS.

   THE SEVERE THUNDERSTORM WATCH AREA IS APPROXIMATELY ALONG AND 90
   STATUTE MILES EITHER SIDE OF A LINE FROM 55 MILES WEST NORTHWEST
   OF LEXINGTON KENTUCKY TO 30 MILES NORTHEAST OF WHITE SULPHUR
   SPRINGS WEST VIRGINIA.  FOR A COMPLETE DEPICTION OF THE WATCH SEE

   PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

   REMEMBER...A SEVERE THUNDERSTORM WATCH MEANS CONDITIONS ARE
   FAVORABLE FOR SEVERE THUNDERSTORMS IN AND CLOSE TO THE WATCH
   AREA. PERSONS IN THESE AREAS SHOULD BE ON THE LOOKOUT FOR
   THREATENING WEATHER CONDITIONS AND LISTEN FOR LATER STATEMENTS
   AND POSSIBLE WARNINGS. SEVERE THUNDERSTORMS CAN AND OCCASIONALLY
   DO PRODUCE TORNADOES.
