   THE NWS STORM PREDICTION CENTER HAS ISSUED A

   * SEVERE THUNDERSTORM WATCH FOR PORTIONS OF 
     WESTERN AND CENTRAL LOUISIANA
     FAR SOUTHEAST TEXAS
     COASTAL WATERS

   * EFFECTIVE THIS WEDNESDAY MORNING FROM 455 AM UNTIL NOON CDT.

   * PRIMARY THREATS INCLUDE...
     SCATTERED DAMAGING WIND GUSTS TO 65 MPH POSSIBLE

   SUMMARY...QLCS ACROSS SOUTHEAST TEXAS SHOULD CONTINUE EAST INTO
   PARTS OF LOUISIANA THIS MORNING. SETUP IS FAVORABLE FOR STRONG TO
   ISOLATED SEVERE WIND GUSTS WITHIN BOWING SEGMENTS.

   THE SEVERE THUNDERSTORM WATCH AREA IS APPROXIMATELY ALONG AND 80
   STATUTE MILES EAST AND WEST OF A LINE FROM 30 MILES NORTH
   NORTHEAST OF NATCHITOCHES LOUISIANA TO 5 MILES SOUTHEAST OF PORT
   ARTHUR TEXAS.  FOR A COMPLETE DEPICTION OF THE WATCH SEE THE

   PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

   AREA. PERSONS IN THESE AREAS SHOULD BE ON THE LOOKOUT FOR
   THREATENING WEATHER CONDITIONS AND LISTEN FOR LATER STATEMENTS
