   TORNADO WATCH NUMBER 115
   NWS STORM PREDICTION CENTER NORMAN OK
   255 AM EDT TUE APR 29 2014

   THE NWS STORM PREDICTION CENTER HAS ISSUED A

   * TORNADO WATCH FOR PORTIONS OF 
     FAR SOUTHEAST ALABAMA
     FLORIDA PANHANDLE
     WESTERN AND NORTHERN GEORGIA

   * EFFECTIVE THIS TUESDAY MORNING FROM 255 AM UNTIL 1100 AM EDT.

   * PRIMARY THREATS INCLUDE...
     A COUPLE TORNADOES POSSIBLE
     ISOLATED DAMAGING WIND GUSTS TO 70 MPH POSSIBLE
     ISOLATED LARGE HAIL EVENTS TO 1 INCH IN DIAMETER POSSIBLE

   THE TORNADO WATCH AREA IS APPROXIMATELY ALONG AND 65 STATUTE
   MILES EAST AND WEST OF A LINE FROM 65 MILES NORTHEAST OF ROME
   GEORGIA TO 40 MILES SOUTH OF MARIANNA FLORIDA.  FOR A COMPLETE

   PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

   REMEMBER...A TORNADO WATCH MEANS CONDITIONS ARE FAVORABLE FOR
   TORNADOES AND SEVERE THUNDERSTORMS IN AND CLOSE TO THE WATCH
   AREA. PERSONS IN THESE AREAS SHOULD BE ON THE LOOKOUT FOR
   THREATENING WEATHER CONDITIONS AND LISTEN FOR LATER STATEMENTS
   AND POSSIBLE WARNINGS.

   DISCUSSION...AN MCS WITH EMBEDDED SUPERCELL AND BOWING STRUCTURES
   WILL CONTINUE EWD ACROSS THE WATCH AREA EARLY THIS MORNING.
   COMBINATION OF A MOIST...MODERATELY UNSTABLE AIR MASS AND STRONG
   VERTICAL SHEAR WILL MAINTAIN ORGANIZED STORM MODES WITH A RISK FOR A
   COUPLE OF TORNADOES...DAMAGING WINDS AND HAIL.

   AVIATION...TORNADOES AND A FEW SEVERE THUNDERSTORMS WITH HAIL
   SURFACE AND ALOFT TO 1 INCH. EXTREME TURBULENCE AND SURFACE WIND
   GUSTS TO 60 KNOTS. A FEW CUMULONIMBI WITH MAXIMUM TOPS TO 500.
