   NWS STORM PREDICTION CENTER NORMAN OK
   215 PM CDT MON JUN 9 2014

   THE NWS STORM PREDICTION CENTER HAS ISSUED A

   * TORNADO WATCH FOR PORTIONS OF 
     NORTHEAST ARKANSAS
     MISSOURI BOOTHEEL
     NORTHERN MISSISSIPPI
     WESTERN TENNESSEE

   * EFFECTIVE THIS MONDAY AFTERNOON AND EVENING FROM 215 PM UNTIL
     700 PM CDT.

   * PRIMARY THREATS INCLUDE...
     A COUPLE TORNADOES POSSIBLE
     ISOLATED DAMAGING WIND GUSTS TO 70 MPH POSSIBLE
     ISOLATED LARGE HAIL EVENTS TO 1.5 INCHES IN DIAMETER POSSIBLE

   THE TORNADO WATCH AREA IS APPROXIMATELY ALONG AND 60 STATUTE
   MILES EAST AND WEST OF A LINE FROM 35 MILES NORTH NORTHEAST OF
   DYERSBURG TENNESSEE TO 35 MILES SOUTH SOUTHWEST OF MEMPHIS
   TENNESSEE.  FOR A COMPLETE DEPICTION OF THE WATCH SEE THE

   PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

   REMEMBER...A TORNADO WATCH MEANS CONDITIONS ARE FAVORABLE FOR
   TORNADOES AND SEVERE THUNDERSTORMS IN AND CLOSE TO THE WATCH
   AREA. PERSONS IN THESE AREAS SHOULD BE ON THE LOOKOUT FOR
   THREATENING WEATHER CONDITIONS AND LISTEN FOR LATER STATEMENTS
   AND POSSIBLE WARNINGS.

   DISCUSSION...A BOWING LINE SEGMENT WITH EMBEDDED LEWP STRUCTURES
   WILL PROGRESS NEWD ACROSS THE WATCH AREA THIS AFTERNOON INTO
   EVENING. THE VERY MOIST AIR MASS COUPLED WITH STRENGTHENING
   LOW-LEVEL AND DEEP-LAYER SHEAR WILL BE SUPPORTIVE OF STORM ROTATION
   WITH A RISK FOR A COUPLE OF TORNADOES IN ADDITION TO DAMAGING WINDS
   AND LARGE HAIL.

   AVIATION...TORNADOES AND A FEW SEVERE THUNDERSTORMS WITH HAIL
   SURFACE AND ALOFT TO 1.5 INCHES. EXTREME TURBULENCE AND SURFACE
   WIND GUSTS TO 60 KNOTS. A FEW CUMULONIMBI WITH MAXIMUM TOPS TO
