   TORNADO WATCH NUMBER 314
   NWS STORM PREDICTION CENTER NORMAN OK
   250 PM MDT FRI JUN 19 2015

   THE NWS STORM PREDICTION CENTER HAS ISSUED A

   * TORNADO WATCH FOR PORTIONS OF 
     SOUTHEAST MONTANA
     WESTERN SOUTH DAKOTA
     NORTHEAST WYOMING

   * EFFECTIVE THIS FRIDAY AFTERNOON AND EVENING FROM 250 PM UNTIL
     1000 PM MDT.

   * PRIMARY THREATS INCLUDE...
     A COUPLE TORNADOES POSSIBLE
     SCATTERED DAMAGING WIND GUSTS TO 70 MPH LIKELY
     SCATTERED LARGE HAIL AND ISOLATED VERY LARGE HAIL EVENTS TO 2.5
       INCHES IN DIAMETER POSSIBLE

   SUMMARY...ISOLATED SEVERE THUNDERSTORMS AND SUPERCELLS WILL POSE A
   VERY LARGE HAIL AND SOME TORNADO RISK THROUGH THE EARLY EVENING
   HOURS...ESPECIALLY ACROSS FAR SOUTHEAST MONTANA AND NORTHEAST
   WYOMING INTO FAR WESTERN SOUTH DAKOTA. A SQUALL LINE SHOULD BEGIN TO
   EVOLVE BY EARLY/MID-EVENING INTO SOUTH DAKOTA WITH A CONCENTRATED
   CORRIDOR OF WIND DAMAGE BECOMING MORE OF A CONCERN.

   THE TORNADO WATCH AREA IS APPROXIMATELY ALONG AND 85 STATUTE
   MILES NORTH AND SOUTH OF A LINE FROM 10 MILES SOUTH SOUTHWEST OF
   BILLINGS MONTANA TO 30 MILES NORTH OF PHILIP SOUTH DAKOTA.  FOR A

   REMEMBER...A TORNADO WATCH MEANS CONDITIONS ARE FAVORABLE FOR
   TORNADOES AND SEVERE THUNDERSTORMS IN AND CLOSE TO THE WATCH
   AREA. PERSONS IN THESE AREAS SHOULD BE ON THE LOOKOUT FOR
   THREATENING WEATHER CONDITIONS AND LISTEN FOR LATER STATEMENTS
   AND POSSIBLE WARNINGS.
