   SEVERE THUNDERSTORM WATCH NUMBER 336
   NWS STORM PREDICTION CENTER NORMAN OK
   445 PM CDT MON JUN 22 2015

   THE NWS STORM PREDICTION CENTER HAS ISSUED A

   * SEVERE THUNDERSTORM WATCH FOR PORTIONS OF 
     WESTERN UPPER PENINSULA OF MICHIGAN
     NORTHERN WISCONSIN
     LAKE SUPERIOR

   * EFFECTIVE THIS MONDAY AFTERNOON AND EVENING FROM 445 PM UNTIL
     1000 PM CDT.

   * PRIMARY THREATS INCLUDE...
     ISOLATED SIGNIFICANT DAMAGING WIND GUSTS TO 75 MPH POSSIBLE
     ISOLATED LARGE HAIL EVENTS TO 1 INCH IN DIAMETER POSSIBLE

   SUMMARY...BROKEN LINE OF THUNDERSTORMS WILL DEVELOP QUICKLY ACROSS
   THE WATCH AREA THIS EVENING. WHILE INSTABILITY IS LIMITED...STRONG
   DEEP-LAYER WIND FIELDS AND DYNAMIC FORCING ASSOCIATED WITH PASSING
   FRONT AND UPPER SYSTEM...WILL CONTRIBUTE TO STORM ORGANIZATION WITH
   THE CHANCE FOR MARGINALLY SEVERE HAIL TO AN INCH IN DIAMETER AND
   WIND GUSTS IN EXCESS OF 50 KT.

   THE SEVERE THUNDERSTORM WATCH AREA IS APPROXIMATELY ALONG AND 100
   STATUTE MILES EITHER SIDE OF A LINE FROM 35 MILES NORTHEAST OF
   IRONWOOD MICHIGAN TO 25 MILES WEST SOUTHWEST OF RHINELANDER

   PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

   REMEMBER...A SEVERE THUNDERSTORM WATCH MEANS CONDITIONS ARE
   FAVORABLE FOR SEVERE THUNDERSTORMS IN AND CLOSE TO THE WATCH
   AREA. PERSONS IN THESE AREAS SHOULD BE ON THE LOOKOUT FOR
   THREATENING WEATHER CONDITIONS AND LISTEN FOR LATER STATEMENTS
   AND POSSIBLE WARNINGS. SEVERE THUNDERSTORMS CAN AND OCCASIONALLY
   DO PRODUCE TORNADOES.
