   NWS STORM PREDICTION CENTER NORMAN OK
   610 AM EDT TUE JUN 23 2015

   THE NWS STORM PREDICTION CENTER HAS ISSUED A

   * SEVERE THUNDERSTORM WATCH FOR PORTIONS OF 
     SOUTH-CENTRAL NEW YORK
     NORTH-CENTRAL PENNSYLVANIA

   * EFFECTIVE THIS TUESDAY MORNING FROM 610 AM UNTIL 1100 AM EDT.

   * PRIMARY THREATS INCLUDE...
     ISOLATED DAMAGING WIND GUSTS TO 70 MPH POSSIBLE

   SUMMARY...A BOWING LINE OF STORMS WILL RAPIDLY PROGRESS EAST ACROSS
   THE WATCH AREA THIS MORNING WITH A RISK FOR DAMAGING WINDS.

   THE SEVERE THUNDERSTORM WATCH AREA IS APPROXIMATELY ALONG AND 45
   STATUTE MILES NORTH AND SOUTH OF A LINE FROM 15 MILES SOUTH
   SOUTHWEST OF BRADFORD PENNSYLVANIA TO 20 MILES NORTH OF
   BINGHAMTON NEW YORK.  FOR A COMPLETE DEPICTION OF THE WATCH SEE

   PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

   REMEMBER...A SEVERE THUNDERSTORM WATCH MEANS CONDITIONS ARE
   FAVORABLE FOR SEVERE THUNDERSTORMS IN AND CLOSE TO THE WATCH
   AREA. PERSONS IN THESE AREAS SHOULD BE ON THE LOOKOUT FOR
   THREATENING WEATHER CONDITIONS AND LISTEN FOR LATER STATEMENTS
   AND POSSIBLE WARNINGS. SEVERE THUNDERSTORMS CAN AND OCCASIONALLY
   DO PRODUCE TORNADOES.
