   NWS STORM PREDICTION CENTER NORMAN OK
   1135 PM CDT THU OCT 2 2014

   THE NWS STORM PREDICTION CENTER HAS ISSUED A

   * SEVERE THUNDERSTORM WATCH FOR PORTIONS OF 
     SOUTHERN LOUISIANA
     SOUTHWESTERN MISSISSIPPI
     EXTREME SOUTHEAST TEXAS
     COASTAL WATERS

   * EFFECTIVE THIS THURSDAY NIGHT AND FRIDAY MORNING FROM 1135 PM
     UNTIL 500 AM CDT.

   * PRIMARY THREATS INCLUDE...
     ISOLATED SIGNIFICANT DAMAGING WIND GUSTS TO 75 MPH POSSIBLE

   THE SEVERE THUNDERSTORM WATCH AREA IS APPROXIMATELY ALONG AND 85
   STATUTE MILES EAST AND WEST OF A LINE FROM 45 MILES SOUTH
   SOUTHEAST OF LAKE CHARLES LOUISIANA TO 60 MILES NORTH NORTHWEST
   OF BATON ROUGE LOUISIANA.  FOR A COMPLETE DEPICTION OF THE WATCH
