   NWS STORM PREDICTION CENTER NORMAN OK
   720 PM CDT MON OCT 13 2014

   THE NWS STORM PREDICTION CENTER HAS ISSUED A

   * TORNADO WATCH FOR PORTIONS OF 
     SOUTHWEST ALABAMA
     WESTERN FLORIDA PANHANDLE
     COASTAL WATERS

   * EFFECTIVE THIS MONDAY NIGHT AND TUESDAY MORNING FROM 720 PM
     UNTIL 300 AM CDT.

   * PRIMARY THREATS INCLUDE...
     A COUPLE TORNADOES POSSIBLE
     ISOLATED DAMAGING WIND GUSTS TO 70 MPH POSSIBLE
     ISOLATED LARGE HAIL EVENTS TO 1.5 INCHES IN DIAMETER POSSIBLE

   THE TORNADO WATCH AREA IS APPROXIMATELY ALONG AND 60 STATUTE
   MILES EAST AND WEST OF A LINE FROM 50 MILES NORTH NORTHWEST OF
   EVERGREEN ALABAMA TO 15 MILES WEST SOUTHWEST OF PENSACOLA

   THREATENING WEATHER CONDITIONS AND LISTEN FOR LATER STATEMENTS

   DISCUSSION...THUNDERSTORMS ARE GRADUALLY INTENSIFYING THIS EVENING
   OVER SWRN AL AHEAD OF A SQUALL LINE ADVANCING EWD THROUGH SERN MS.
   THE LOCAL AIR MASS IS QUITE MOIST AND MODERATELY SHEARED. AS
   LARGE-SCALE FORCING FOR ASCENT SPREADS ACROSS THE WATCH
   AREA...EXPECT FURTHER INTENSIFICATION OF STORMS WITH A RISK FOR
   EMBEDDED SUPERCELLS CAPABLE OF A COUPLE TORNADOES. DAMAGING WINDS
   WILL BE THE MAIN HAZARD WITH THE SQUALL LINE MOVING INTO THE REGION
   FROM THE WEST.

   AVIATION...TORNADOES AND A FEW SEVERE THUNDERSTORMS WITH HAIL
   SURFACE AND ALOFT TO 1.5 INCHES. EXTREME TURBULENCE AND SURFACE
   WIND GUSTS TO 60 KNOTS. A FEW CUMULONIMBI WITH MAXIMUM TOPS TO
