   MESOSCALE DISCUSSION 1141
NWS STORM PREDICTION CENTER NORMAN OK
   0750 PM CDT WED JUN 13 2007

   AREAS AFFECTED...ERN MT

   CONCERNING...SEVERE POTENTIAL...WATCH UNLIKELY

   VALID 140050Z - 140315Z

ISOLATED TSTMS THAT HAVE DEVELOPED OVER THE AREA MAY POSE A MARGINAL
DMGG WIND THREAT OVER THE NEXT SEVERAL HOURS...BUT A WW IS NOT
   EXPECTED.

LATEST SFC ANALYSIS INDICATES A PRE-FRONTAL WIND SHIFT EXTENDING
SW-NE FROM ROSEBUD COUNTY INTO MCCONE COUNTY. AIRMASS SOUTH OF THIS
BOUNDARY WAS MODERATELY UNSTABLE /MLCAPES FROM 750-1000 J/KG/...WITH
RELATIVELY STEEP LOW LEVEL LAPSE RATES. PRESENCE OF RELATIVELY WEAK
MID LEVEL LAPSE RATES /PER THE 00Z GGW SOUNDING/ WILL LIMIT MOMENTUM
TRANSFER OF STRONGER /40-50 KT/ MID LEVEL WINDS TOWARDS THE BOUNDARY
LAYER. HOWEVER...ENOUGH INSTABILITY EXISTS THAT AN ISOLATED DMGG
WIND GUST WILL BE POSSIBLE WITH THE STRONGEST TSTMS.
