   THE SEVERE WEATHER THREAT FOR SEVERE THUNDERSTORM WATCH 259
   CONTINUES.

   SUMMARY...SEVERE THREAT SLOWLY DIMINISHING...BUT AN ISOLATED
   HAIL/WIND EVENT OR TWO REMAIN POSSIBLE OVER THE NEXT HOUR OR SO.

   DISCUSSION...THUNDERSTORMS CONTINUE SHIFTING EWD OUT OF KS AND
   INTO/ACROSS WRN AND CENTRAL MO ATTM...IN ASSOCIATION WITH CONTINUED
   VEERING OF THE LOW-LEVEL JET.  CONVECTIVE INTENSITY HAS DIMINISHED
   OVER THE PAST 1-2 HOURS...AND THIS TREND IS EXPECTED TO CONTINUE
   THIS MORNING.  STILL...DEGREE OF INSTABILITY AND STRENGTH OF SHEAR
   ACROSS THE AREA REMAIN SUPPORTIVE OF ISOLATED STRONGER STORMS -- AND
   THUS THREAT FOR AN ISOLATED SEVERE EVENT PERSISTS.
