   Areas affected...eastern Colorado

   Concerning...Severe Thunderstorm Watch 344...

   The severe weather threat for Severe Thunderstorm Watch 344
   continues.

   SUMMARY...Severe thunderstorm potential is decreasing across much of
   the watch area. The exception being across far southeast areas where
   a hail and wind threat remains. These thunderstorms will exit the
   watch shortly and Severe Thunderstorm Watch #344 should be allowed
   to expire at 09PM MDT.

   DISCUSSION...Overall, thunderstorm coverage continues to wane across
   much of the severe thunderstorm watch area. The exception being
   across far southeast portions, where two supercell thunderstorms
   remain. As these thunderstorms continue moving southeast a large
   hail and wind threat will be possible along and ahead of them before
   they move out of Severe Thunderstorm Watch #344 and into recently
   issued Severe Thunderstorm Watch #345, perhaps clipping Kiowa
   County, CO, on their way. 

   In any event, the ongoing severe threat across Severe Thunderstorm
   Watch #344 should diminish sufficiently for the watch to be allowed
   to expire as scheduled at 03Z.
