   The severe weather threat for Tornado Watch 10, 7 continues.

   SUMMARY...A corridor for enhanced tornado and significant wind gust
   potential exists across northern MS and southwest TN

   DISCUSSION...Recent radar imagery has shown an increase in forward
   speed of two separate line segments over far northwest MS. A recent
   gust of 69 kt was measured at Tunica, MS (KUTA). Storm moving
   through DeSoto County has also shown rotation for at least the past
   15 minutes with the most recent scans from KNQA sampling a tornadic
   debris signature. Given these trends and the very favorable
   kinematic environment (characterized by 0-1 km storm-relative
   helicity in excess of 700 m2/s2), a corridor of enhanced tornado and
   significant wind gust potential appears to be in place across
   northern MS and southwest TN.
