Areas affected...Portions of far east TX into northern LA

   Concerning...Tornado Watch 105...

   Valid 121430Z - 121600Z

The severe weather threat for Tornado Watch 105 continues.

SUMMARY...A bowing line of storms will continue to pose a damaging
wind and tornado risk across northern Louisiana this morning.

DISCUSSION...A small, but well organized MCS ongoing across far east
TX will continue into parts of northern LA over the next couple of
hours. This convection is likely being supported by a lead shortwave
trough moving northeastward over the ArkLaTex region. VWPs from the
past hour from KSHV show strengthening flow in the 1-4 km AGL layer,
with ample low-level shear present. 14Z surface analysis shows a
meso-low embedded just behind the ongoing line, and a marine warm
front will continue to lift northward across central/northern LA
this morning. A moderately unstable airmass along/south of this
boundary and strong effective bulk shear will likely maintain the
organized structure of this line for at least the next couple of
hours. Scattered to numerous damaging winds will be a concern given
the linear storm mode. Embedded tornadic circulations will also
likely occur, with effective SRH in excess of 400-500+ m2/s2
   supporting quick low-level spin ups.
