   Areas affected...central and eastern Missouri

   Concerning...Severe Thunderstorm Watch 185...

   The severe weather threat for Severe Thunderstorm Watch 185
   continues.

   SUMMARY...Local risk for damaging winds continues -- with risk
   affecting the St. Louis metro areas and areas to the south over the
   next hour.

   DISCUSSION...A band of thunderstorms continues moving
   east-southeastward across Missouri/WW 185, with a very gradual
   decrease in convective intensity observed overall.  Still, locally
   gusty/damaging winds remain possible with the convective band, with
   a relatively more organized portion of the line to affect the St.
   Louis metro area, and areas to the south, over the next hour.

   Though storms are nearing the eastern fringe of the watch, new WW
   issuance into Illinois appears unnecessary at this time, as
   instability decreases substantially with eastward extent.
