NWS Storm Prediction Center Norman OK
   1010 PM CDT Wed May 20 2020

   Areas affected...Northeast Montana

   Concerning...Severe Thunderstorm Watch 197...

   Valid 210310Z - 210445Z

The severe weather threat for Severe Thunderstorm Watch 197
   continues.

SUMMARY...Damaging winds and hail are possible with a squall line as
it races north toward the international border.

DISCUSSION...MCS has evolved over northeast MT this evening with an
apparent MCV forming over southeast Garfield County. Latest radar
data suggests an east-west squall line has begun to surge in excess
of 50kt as it propagates north across McCone County -- just east of
the evolving MCV. While some hail remains possible, severe winds are
likely the main threat with this squall line as it surges toward the
   SK border.
